The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on public holidays, Memorial days and celebrated" make law "on holidays, Memorial days and celebrated" (Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1990, no. 42; The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, nr. 10, 22; 1997, nr. 3, 13; in 1998, 1., no. 15; 2000, 7, no. 12; 2002, no. 9; 2007, no. 13; 2009, no. 21) the following amendments: 1. Replace the words "in article 1 of the Republic of Latvia Declaration of independence day" with the words "the Republic of Latvia independence day".
2. in article 2: Add to the article after the number and the words "15 may – international day of the family" with a number and the words "May 17, firefighters and rescuers ' and after a number of days and the words" 17 June, the day of the occupation of Latvia "with the words" the third Sunday of June, the medical staff of the day ";
replace the words "constitutional law" on the national status of the Republic of Latvia "and the actual Republic of Latvia independence day" with the words "constitutional law" on the national status of the Republic of Latvia "adopted".
The Parliament adopted the law of 7 April 2011.
