The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment to the law "on the privatization of land in rural areas" to make the law "on the privatization of land in rural areas" (the Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1992,/33./34.nr. in 1993, 32;/19.nr.; 18. The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1994, nr. 1; 1995, no 2; in 1996, 1., no. 15; 1997, no. 2; 2001, no. 22; 2003, no. 9; 2005, no. 24; 2007, nr. 14; Latvian journal 2010, nr. 205.) following amendment: article 28: make the second paragraph as follows: "by 2014 may 1 to nationals of the Member States of the European Union and the Member States of the European Union under the registered legal entities may acquire property under the same conditions as referred to in the first subparagraph.";
replace the third paragraph, the words and figures "up to May 1, 2011" with the words and figures "up to 2014 30 April".
The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
The Parliament adopted the law in 2011 on April 14.
