The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the maritime administration and the Maritime Safety Act do maritime administration and the Maritime Safety Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, nr. 23; 2003; 2004, nr. 23, no. 23; 2005; 2006, no 24, no. 14; 2007, 12 no, 3, 15; 2008. no; 2009, no 2; Latvian journal, 2009, nr. 178.; 2010, no. 101) the following amendments: 1. 2. Express article 1 by the following: "article 1. 7. Replace article 7 of the first paragraph of point 2, the words "the Cabinet approved the national preparedness plan for oil pollution incidents at sea" with the words "the Cabinet approved the national preparedness plan for oil, dangerous or noxious substances pollution incidents at sea".

17. Make article 41 the following: "article 41. Article 50.1. 19. Replace article 53 in the first paragraph, the word "national" with the word "national".
20. transitional provisions be supplemented by 23, 24 and 25 as follows: "23. Condition of this law, article 5, paragraph 8, and the exclusion of article 18, first paragraph, the new version shall enter into force on 15 July 2011.

The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
