The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the national probation service law to make the national Probation Service Act (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2004, no. 2; 2005; 2006, nr. 8, no. 24; 2008, no. 24; 2009, 2., no. 14, 16; Latvian Journal No. 183, 2010) the following amendments: 1. Replace article 1, paragraph 5, the words "the person to whom you provide postpenitenciār aid" with the words "with the probation supervision the sentenced person or person with a Prosecutor's statement about the punishment laid down additional penalty: probation supervision".
2. Supplement article 6 paragraph 9 with the following: "9) provide additional penalty: probation supervision, execution."
3. To supplement the law with article 11.1 of the following: ' article 11.1. In addition, probation supervision, execution state probation service cabinet order provides additional penalty: probation supervision, execution. "
4. Supplement article 25 with 2.1 part as follows: "(21) national probation service officials, providing additional penalty: probation supervision, execution, in addition to the first and the rights set out in paragraph 1.1 is the second part of this article 1, 2, and 4. the rights referred to in paragraph 1, as well as the right for the customer to identify criminal probation enforcement of laws and regulations governing obligations, and monitor compliance."
5. Add to the transitional provisions of paragraph 5, the words "except where the person convicted of an offence against morals and dzimumneaizskaramīb".
The law shall enter into force on the 1 October 2011.
