The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment of the child protection law making Child protection law of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1998, no. 15; 2000, no. 8, 12; 2001, 24 No; 2002; 2003, 23, the No. 12. No; 2004, nr. 12; 2005; 2006, 8. No, No 22; 2007, nr. 9, No 15; 2008; 2009, 14, no. 23; Latvian journal, 2009, 193. no; 2010, no. 47, 205; 112. No. 2011) following amendment: Add to article 27.1 of the Act by the following: ' article 27.1. Child separation from the family, to comply with the ruling of the child's arrival back to the country of his residence (1) a child may be separated from the family, if you need a ruling on putting the child back to the country of his residence, forced execution and if: 1) child's parents or other person, who unlawfully moved her children or is not voluntarily complied with the decision of the child's return to the country where is his place of residence, and law in the order has not been possible to ensure the enforcement of the award, not the children of the family class;
the child's parent, 2), or the person who unlawfully moved her children or seized is not a bailiff within the time limit specified in the notice served on the child's return to the country where he is resident, and law in the order has not been possible to ensure the enforcement of the award, not the sort of children from families.
(2) a child of the family, the family courts shall ensure the child's personal interests, as well as the protection of the rights and, if the child is transferred to the representative of family courts further action in cases where enforcement of the award does not participate in the party, the children of the crisis centre or other secure location, if the child can not be immediately returned to the country of his residence.
(3) If the child's parents or other person that child illegally transferred or seized, or close relatives of the child can threaten the ruling on the child's arrival back to the country of his residence, further enforcement and preparation for bringing children back to the country of his residence, the family courts, bringing the children's crisis centre or other secure location, you can: 1) refuse to notify those persons, the location of the child;
2) to prohibit these people meet with the child and to remove her from the crisis centre or other safe conditions. "
The law shall enter into force on the 1 October 2011.
