The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: law Latvian national armed forces participation in international operations "make law" Latvian national armed forces participation in international operations "(Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, nr. 7; 1996, no. 6; 2001, nr. 8; 2002, 5. no; 2008, no 3; 2009, no. 3; Latvian journal, 2011, 88 no). following amendment: Add to transitional provisions with paragraph 4 by the following: "4. Until the date when the Latvian national armed forces soldier membership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization-led operation in Afghanistan, the international security assistance force in deciding the composition of the Parliament, 11 but no longer than up to 1 January 2012 the Cabinet has the right to decide on this issue the United Nations approved the mandate."
The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
