The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on regional development making regional development Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, no. 9; 2003, 2, 6; 2005, nr. 8. No; 2006, no. 15; 2007, 12, no. 24, no 1, 2009; Latvian journal, 2010, 43, 205. No.) the following amendments: 1. Turn off the article 4, 5, 6, and 7.
2. Turn off the chapter II.
3. Turn off the article 14, paragraph 1, the words "and the national development plan".
4. Express 16.1 of the first paragraph of article 3.1 paragraph by the following: "31) give an opinion on local development strategies and long-term development program for compliance with the regional territorial development planning documents, as well as development planning document system regulatory regulations;".
5. transitional provisions: Express 5. point 8. subparagraph by the following: ' 8) to 2012 December 31 issued this law article 14, paragraph 7 of the proposed rules. ";

The law shall enter into force on December 1, 2011.
