The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of protection of the environment in the environmental protection law of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2006, 24 no; 2007, 15. no; 2008, 7, 24 no; 2009, No 14; Latvian journal, 2009, no. 194; 2010, nr. 205.) the amendments are as follows: 1. Article 38: make the title and first paragraph as follows: "article 38. Eco-label and granting (1) environmental monitoring national Office shall be the competent authority in relation to the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009. in Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 for the EU eco-label (text with EEA relevance) the performance of the tasks prescribed. Environmental monitoring national Office in accordance with this Regulation shall be awarded the European Union eco-labelling Board (also referred to as eco-label) products to promote environmentally friendly production and distribution of products. " Add to article 1.1 part as follows: "(11) a Person submitting an environmental monitoring application for the national Office of the eco-label for the product shall be borne by the consideration of the application and registration of the product costs, and costs associated with testing and evaluation of conformity in respect of the eco-label criteria, in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers of the environment approved the national Office for monitoring the paid service price list. The Cabinet determines: 1) the fee for the examination of the application for the eco-label and the product registration; 2) annual fee for the use of the Community eco-label and payment arrangements. " make the second paragraph as follows: "(2) environmental monitoring national Office coordinates the European Union eco-labelling in Latvia shall inform the manufacturer of the relevant requirements, promotes the European Union eco-label, as well as to provide necessary information to the European Commission." 2. transitional provisions be supplemented by the following paragraph 14: "14. Cabinet of Ministers until July 1, 2012, does article 38 of this law the provisions referred to in paragraph 1.1."
The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation. The Parliament adopted the law of 7 June 2012.
