The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: diplomatic and consular law in diplomatic and consular law (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, nr. 22; 1998; 2000, no. 14, no. 13; 2001; 2003 21 no, 8, 2005, 23 No; 9. No; 2007; 2008, no 3, 24, 3, 2009. no no; Latvian journal, 2009, no. 194; 157. in 2011, no.) the following amendments: 1. Turn off the article 3 first paragraph, second sentence. 2. Supplement article 3 of part 1.1 in the following wording: "(11) the diplomatic and consular services are also subject to persons previously granted diplomatic rank in accordance with this law, article 9 and 12, and for a certain period of time which transferred (designated) on this article not mentioned in the first subparagraph in order to fulfil one of the following functions: 1), the country's highest officials (the President, the Chairman of the Parliament, the Prime Minister) or the Chairman of the Riga City Council and the Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Assistant; 2) State of senior officials (the President, the Chairman of the Parliament, the Prime Minister) or the Chairman of the Riga City Council providing diplomatic protocol functions; 3) Latvia Presidency the European Union Council Secretariat officials and staff. " 3. To supplement the transitional provisions with paragraph 4 by the following: "4. This law, article 3, paragraph 2 of part 1 shall enter into force simultaneously with the law on State budget for 2007-2013." The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation. The Parliament adopted the law of 14 June 2012.
