The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the Education Act to make the Education Act of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1998, nr. 24; 1999, 17, no. 24; 2000, no. 12; 2001, 12, 16, 21; 2004, nr. 5. No; 2007, no. 3, 2009, 1., 2., no. 14; Latvian journal, 2009, nr. 196; 2010, no. 47, 205; 202. in 2011, no; 2012, 54 no) the following amendments: 1. To make article 50 (1) of the following: "1) a person convicted for an intentional criminal offence (regardless of delete or remove a criminal record), except after conviction or removal of the deletion of the Cabinet of Ministers established the institution evaluated by whether it does not harm the interests of the trainees to work is authorized by the person who the teachers been convicted for an intentional criminal offence or less serious crime. The law shall enter into force on the 1 October 2012.
