The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on the protection of cultural monuments" make law "on the protection of cultural monuments" (Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1992, nr. 10; 1993, 24/25, 36 no; The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, no. 7; 2001, 24 no; 2003, no. 24; 2005, no. 11; 2008, no. 24; Latvian journal, 2009, 188. nr.; 2010, no. 183; 2013, no 6; 2016, 2. No.) the following amendments: 1. Add to article 4 of the second paragraph by the following: "on the issue of the cultural monuments, including the State-owned antiquities, temporary removal from the Republic of Latvia State fee is payable. Government fees, payment procedures, as well as stamp duty relief and exemptions from which they shall determine, the Cabinet of Ministers. " 2. Supplement article 18.1, with second, third and fourth subparagraph by the following: "The art and antique items category for the export or temporary export of Latvian required national cultural monuments protection inspection authorization is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. That art or antiques subject does not fit in the art and antique items in the category for the export or temporary export of Latvian required national cultural monuments protection inspection permit, the person is entitled to the protection of national cultural monuments issued a certificate of inspection. On the issue of the art and antique items for the export or temporary export of Latvian State fee is payable. Government fees, payment procedures, as well as stamp duty relief and exemptions from which they shall determine, the Cabinet of Ministers. " 3. Article 26: in the second paragraph of point 9 shall be expressed by the following: "9) take cultural monuments, including antiquities, which, in accordance with article 7 of this law in the fourth part, owned by the State, as well as art and antique objects expertise;" Add to part with point 11 and 12 as follows: ' 11) license cultural monuments, including antiquities, which, in accordance with article 7 of this law in the fourth part, owned by the State, as well as art and antique items for the export or temporary export of the Republic of Latvia; 12) at the request of the person issuing the certificate to show that the art or antiques subject to the export or temporary export of the Republic of Latvia does not need a national cultural monument protection Inspectorate authorisation. " The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2017. The Parliament adopted the law of 7 April 2016. The President r. vējonis 2016 in Riga on April 27.
