The Saeima has adopted and promulgated the following laws of Valstsprezident: On 14 December 1960, the Convention on the Organisation for economic cooperation and development and the agreement on the accession of the Republic of Latvia to the Convention on the Organisation for economic cooperation and development conditions article 1. 14 December 1960 a Convention on the Organisation for economic cooperation and development (hereinafter referred to as the Convention) and 2 June 2016 in Paris, signed the agreement on the accession of the Republic of Latvia to the Convention on the Organisation for economic cooperation and development terms (hereinafter referred to as the Treaty) this law is adopted and approved. 2. article. GENERAL statement OF acceptance 1. -The Republic of Latvia shall, by deposit of its instrument of accession to the Convention, assume all the obligations of membership of the Organisation including, inter alia, the acceptance of: i) the aim of the Organisation, as set out in article 1 of the Convention as well as in the report of the OECD Committee of December 1960 Features; II) all of the undertaking and commitment set out in articles 2 and 3 of the Convention; III) Supplementary Protocol of. 1 and 2 to the Convention; all decisions, IV) of the resolution, the rules, regulations and conclusions adopted by the Organisation relating to its management and functioning including those concerning the governance of the Organisation, the financial contributions of members, other financial and budget matters, staff matters (including the judgment of the Administrative Tribunal), procedural matters, relations with non-members and classification of information; v) the financial statements of the Organisation; vi) the working methods of the Organisation;

Article 6 1. Unless in special cases the Organization unanimously decides otherwise, decisions and recommendations provided by mutual agreement between all Member States. 2. Each Member State shall have one vote. Where a Member State abstains from voting, such withholding does not make a decision or recommendation void, and they apply to the other Member States, but not to the Member atturējušo. 3. No decision is not binding on any member until it has fulfilled its constitutional procedures. Other Member States may agree that such decision is applicable on a provisional basis to them. Article 5 without any financial controls, regulations or moratoria restrictions: (a) the organization may hold currency of any kind and to handle accounts in any currency; (b) the organization may freely transfer its funds from one country to another and within the framework of any country, as well as convert any currency in their possession in another currency. Article 6 of the Organization, its assets, income and other property shall be exempt from: (a) all direct taxes; However, it is understood that the organisation does not require exemption from fees or taxes, which constitute the only charges for public utility services; (b) all the customs duties and import and export prohibitions and restrictions in respect of goods imported or exported by the Organization for its official use. Part IV: the representatives of the Member States article 9 of representatives of the Member States of the Organization in the main and subordinate authorities in the performance of their duties and driving to and from the place of meeting, are granted the privileges, immunities and facilities, which usually enjoys equivalent rank of diplomatic envoys. Article 15 additional privileges, immunities, exemptions and reductions laid down in article 14, the Secretary-General, his spouse and children under 21 years of age are granted the privileges, immunities, exemptions and facilities due to heads of diplomatic missions in accordance with international law. The Deputy Secretary-General have been assigned the same privileges, immunities, exemptions and facilities as the equivalent rank of diplomatic representatives. Part VII: Amendment of article 20, the organization may conclude with any member or members supplementary agreements modifying the provisions of the Protocol, in so far as the Member State or Member States concerned.
