Supplement article 4, first paragraph, point 3, the words "(except in the cases provided for by law)". 3. in article 6: to make the third and fourth subparagraph by the following: "(3) the identity document is not evidence of a derivative identity and legal status, and are not to be used for the implementation of the rights or legal interests of the identity document in place of the original. (4) the physical person can attest to the accuracy of the derivative of the document: 1) where the author is the person; 2) that it has received from other persons and organizations where the law has not established that the necessary consent of the author of the document. "; turn off the fifth subparagraph of paragraph 3; Add to article 5.1 part as follows: "(51) natural person and organization can certify a document with one set of derivative evidence."
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2017. The Parliament adopted law 2016 10 November. The President r. vējonis 2016 in Riga on November 25.
