Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 225 in Riga 2017 April 25 (Mon. No 21 31) the rules on foreigners requires financial resources and financial means being the finding issued in accordance with immigration law article 4, first paragraph, point 5 and the third paragraph of article 4.2 i. The necessary financial resources is as follows: 5.1 no less than 14 euros per day of stay if the expected duration of residence in the Republic of Latvia shall not exceed 30 days; 5.2. no less than the minimum monthly wage, if the expected duration of residence in the Republic of Latvia for more than 30 days; 5.3. no less than workers in the Republic of Latvia, the monthly average gross wage in the previous year (according to the Central Statistical Administration last published information), if a foreigner gets a visa and the right to employment; 5.4. no less than workers ' monthly average gross wage for the employment of foreigners expected in the sector (second level) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 2006, Regulation No 1893/2006, establishing the NACE Rev. 2. statistical classification of economic activities, as well as amending Council Regulation (EEC) No 3037/90, and some of the EC regulations on specific statistical domains, the previous year (according to the Central Statistical Administration last published information) If a foreigner gets a visa and the right to employment as seasonal workers in agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector. 6. III. financial resources for foreigners in the Republic of Latvia requests or have received a residence permit

11. The necessary financial resources per month is as follows: 11.1. remuneration or income from business in the Republic of Latvia pursuant to double the monthly average for workers gross income for the previous year (according to the Central Statistical Administration last published information) if the foreigner residence permit required under immigration law article 23, first paragraph, 2, 3, and 4, and his residence is linked to the employment or business; 11.2. wages in the Republic of Latvia pursuant to workers ' monthly average gross wage for the previous year, applying the coefficient 1.5 (according to the Central Statistical Administration last published information), – if the residence permit requires a foreigner who wishes to receive a European Union blue card; 11.3. wages in the Republic of Latvia pursuant to workers ' monthly average gross wage for the previous year, applying the coefficient 1.2 (according to the Central Statistical Administration last published information), if the residence permit is required for foreigners who wish to receive a European Union blue card and who will be employed in specialty (profession), the Cabinet of Ministers included their specialties (profession) in the list, which predicts a significant labour shortages; 11.4. the appropriate workers monthly average gross wage for the previous year (according to the Central Statistical Administration last published information)-If a foreigner's residence permit required in connection with employment, which does not mention this rule 11.1, 11.2 or 11.3. in subparagraph; 11.5. financial resources corresponding to double the amount of old age pension social insurance institutions accounting for existing pensioners per month pension paid mean in the previous year (according to the Central Statistics Administration published information) if the foreigner residence permit required under immigration law article 23, first paragraph, paragraph 26; 11.6. financial resources of the minimum monthly wage in the triple-if the residence permit requires the immigration law article 23, first subparagraph, paragraph 29 of the foreigner; 11.7. financial resources according to the minimum monthly wage, in cases which are not provided for in these rules, 11.1 11.2 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, and 11.6., above. 12.
