The DIRECTOR GENERAL for the promotion of quality food and Agriculture of the horse sector having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 December 2012 quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs; Whereas, by Regulation (EU) no 624/2015 of April 14, 2015, the words "Colfiorito red potato" refers to category "fruit, vegetables and cereals, fresh or processed" registered as a protected geographical indication in the register of protected designations of origin (D.O.P.) and geographical indications (I.G.P.) provided for by art. 52, paragraphs 2 and 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1151/2012; Considered that there is a need to publish in the official journal of the Italian Republic the product specification of the protected geographical indication "Colfiorito red potato", so that the provisions contained in the said document are accessible for information erga omnes nationally: shall publish the attached product specification of the protected geographical indication "Colfiorito red potato", registered in the community by Regulation (EU) No. 624/2015 of April 14, 2015. Manufacturers wishing to place on the market the Colfiorito red potato ", may use, in place of presentation and description of the product, the name and the term" geographical indication "only on production in accordance with the Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 and are required to comply with all the conditions required by the legislation in force.
