The Minister of agricultural food and forestry policies having regard to Directive 2000/29/EC of May 8, 2000, on protective measures against the introduction into the community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the community, as amended; Having regard to the Legislative Decree of August 19, 2005, # 214, as amended, concerning the implementation of Directive 2002/89/EC on protective measures against the introduction into and the spread within the community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products; Having regard to the decision to execute 2014/497/EU of July 23, 2014 concerning measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Union of Xylella fastidiosa (Well and Raju); Having regard to the ministerial order of September 12, 2014 establishing a scientific and Technical Committee with the task to elaborate on aspects related to management of phytosanitary emergency caused by Xylella fastidiosa; Having regard to the ministerial order of September 26, 2014 bearing ' emergency measures for the prevention, control and eradication of Xylella fastidiosa (Well and Raju) in the territory of the Italian Republic '; Given the need to define obligatory phytosanitary measures for controlling of Xylella fastidiosa in the infected area in the province of Lecce and give effect to the provisions of art. 10, paragraph 9, of the Ministerial Decree of September 26, 2014; Having considered any observations and proposals of the scientific and Technical Committee referred to in the Ministerial Decree of September 12, 2014; Acquired the approval of the Standing Committee on plant health, referred to in art. 52 of legislative decree August 19, 2005, # 214, expressed at its meeting of November 4, 2014; Acquired the approval of the Standing Conference for the relations between the State, the regions and the autonomous provinces of Trento and Balzano, expressed at its meeting of February 19, 2015.

Finalita' 1. This Decree defines the obligatory phytosanitary measures to be implemented in the infected area in the province of Lecce for the eradication and control of Xylella fastidiosa (Well and Raju), pursuant to art. 10, paragraph 9, of the Ministerial Decree of September 26, 2014.
