The DIRECTOR GENERAL for the promotion of quality food and Agriculture of the horse sector having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 December 2012 quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs; Whereas, by Regulation (EU) No 271/2015 the Commission of February 17, 2015, the words "Pecorino delle Balze Volterrane" refers to the category "Cheeses" registered as a protected designation of origin in the register of protected designations of origin (D.O.P.) and protected geographical indications (I.G.P.) provided for by art. 52, paragraphs 2 and 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1151/2012; Considered that there is a need to publish in the official journal of the Italian Republic the product specification of the protected designation of origin "Pecorino delle Balze Volterrane", so that the provisions contained in the said document are accessible for information erga omnes on the national territory;
Orders: to publish the attached product specification of the protected designation of origin "Pecorino delle Balze Volterrane", registered in the community by Regulation (EU) No. 271/2015 of February 17, 2015. Manufacturers wishing to place on the market the name ' Pecorino delle Balze Volterrane ", may use, in place of presentation and description of the product, the name and the term" protected designation of origin "only on production in accordance with the Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 and they are required to respect all the conditions laid down in the regulations.
