The DIRECTOR-GENERAL of rural development having regard to act November 25, 1971, n. 1096, regulating the seed activities and in particular articles 19 and 24 providing for the establishment, for each crop species, registers of varieties intended to permit identification of the variety; Having regard to the Decree of the President of the Republic November 24, 1972, published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica italiana n. February 17, 1973, 44 of which were set up registers of varieties of cereals, potatoes, oil and fibre species; Having regard to the Decree of the President of the Republic October 8, 1973, # 1065 and subsequent amendments on the regulation implementing Law No. 1096/1971; See in particular art. 17-bis of Decree of the President of the Republic No 1065/1973, as last amended by Decree of the President of the Republic May 9, 2001, n. 322, for what concerns the doubts, after inclusion of the variety, as to the suitability of variety denominations; Having regard to the Ministerial Decree of April 5, 2013, published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica italiana n. 98, April 27, 2013, with whom it was registered at the national corn variety called GDM753; Having regard to the Legislative Decree March 30, 2001, # 165, laying down general rules on the sort of labour employed in public administration, in particular art. 4, paragraphs 12 and art. 16, paragraph 1; Having regard to the Legislative Decree July 30, 1999, n. 300, government organization reform in accordance with art. 11 March 15, 1997, law # 59; Having regard to the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers in February 27, 2013, # 105, published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica italiana No 218 of September 17, 2013 on the organisational regulations of the Ministry of agricultural food and forestry policies; Having regard to the proposal for a new name submitted by the person concerned and designed to ensure that the same name may have identified the former head of marketing of seed due to the existence of a trade agreement that transfers the exploitation dell1 strains to other company; Given that the naming proposal was published in the "Bulletin of the vegetable variety» n. 4/2014 without that is submitted objections to its adoption; Considered therefore concluded the examination of the new denomination proposal; Decided to accept the proposal of a new name;
Decrees: Art. 1 the naming of maize variety GDM753 is changed to Alesis. This Decree will enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the official journal of the Italian Republic.
