The DIRECTOR GENERAL for the promotion of quality food and Agriculture of the horse sector having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 of the Council, as amended by Regulation (EC) no 491/2009 of the Council establishing a common organisation of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products, in which it was submitted to Council Regulation (EC) no 479/2008 of the Council on the common organisation of the market in wine (Wine CMO); Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) no 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 17, 2013 establishing a common organisation of the markets in agricultural products and repealing Regulations (EEC) no 922/72, (EEC) No 234/79, (EEC) no 1037/2001 and (EC) no 1234/2007; Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) no 607/09 of the Committee concerning application of Regulation (EC) no 479/2008 as regards protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications, traditional terms, labelling and presentation of certain wine sector products; Having regard to the Legislative Decree of April 8, 2010, # 61 concerning protection of geographical indications and designations of origin of wines, in implementation of article 15 of the law July 7, 2009, # 88; Having regard to the application of the aforementioned legislative decree decrees April 8, 2010, # 61, and in particular D.M. November 7, 2012, bearing the national procedure for the submission and examination of applications for protection of PDO and PGI wines and to review the specifications in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 and Legislative Decree No. 61/2010; Having regard to the Ministerial Decree of June 6, 2008-published in the Official Gazette No. 142 of June 19, 2008, which was recognized the typical geographical indication of wines «Lands of L'Aquila» or «Terre de L'Aquila» and it was approved the corresponding product specification as amended; Having regard to the Ministerial Decree of November 30, 2011, published in the official journal of the Italian Republic No. 295 of December 20, 2011 and on the Ministry's website-PDO and PGI Products Section-PDO and PGI wines, with which it was approved the production of typical geographical indication of wines «Lands of L'Aquila» or «Terre de L'Aquila», as well as consolidated with the changes introduced to bring the same to prediction of the elements referred to in article 118-c paragraph 2 of Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007; Having regard to the Ministerial Decree March 7, 2014, posted on the Ministry's website quoted, with which it was finally updated the product specification of the aforesaid IGT; Having regard to the request made by the Consorzio di Tutela Vini d'Abruzzo through the Abruzzo region, aimed at getting the amendment to article 6 rules of production of wines with a geographical indication of wines «Lands of L'Aquila» or «Terre de L'Aquila», in order to better describe the color references «Pinot Gris», presented in this Ministry in accordance with the procedure laid down in article 6 of Ministerial Decree November 7, 2012, in particular the publication in B.U.R. the region of the notice of application; Given that the abovementioned change request does not involve any change to the single document summary referred to in article 118-c, paragraph 1, point d) of Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 and therefore for processing the same request applies the simplified procedure referred to D.M. November 7, 2012, article 10, paragraph 8, in accordance with the provisions of article 118-q, paragraph 3, point a), of Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007; Having regard to the favourable opinion of the Abruzzo region on the mentioned application; Having regard to the opinion delivered by the Committee on PDO and PGI wines cited national question at its meeting of December 11, 2014; Deemed also to have to publish on the website of the Ministry changing the specification in question, making the resulting change to the consolidated production of wine IGP «Lands of L'Aquila» or «Terre de L'Aquila», as approved by the aforementioned ministerial decree of November 30, 2011, most recently updated with the Ministerial Decree of March 7, 2014, and having to communicate the change in question to the Eu Commission such updated technical documentation submitted to the E.u. Commission in accordance with article 3, paragraphs 2 and 118-s of Regulation (EC) no 1234/2007, via the information system provided by the E.u. Commission, pursuant to article 70-a, paragraph 1, letter a) of Regulation (EC) no 607/2009;
Decrees: Art. 1 1. The production of typical geographical indication of wines «Lands of L'Aquila» or «Terre de L'Aquila», consolidated with the changes introduced to bring the same to prediction of the elements referred to in article 118-c, paragraph 2, of Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007, as approved by the Ministerial Decree November 30, 2011 and most recently updated with the D.M. March 7, 2014 recalled in the introduction, it is edited with the text given in the annex. 2. the amendment to the specification of L'Aquila Lands ' or ' IGP consolidated «Terre de L'Aquila», as per paragraph 1, will be posted on the website of the Ministry-PDO and PGI Products Section-PDO and PGI wines--and communicated to the Commission the EU, for the purposes of updating the technical dossier already submitted to the E.u. Commission, pursuant to article 3, paragraphs 2 and 118-s of Regulation (EC) no 1234/2007, in accordance with the procedures mentioned in the introduction. This Decree will be published in the official journal of the Italian Republic.
