The MINISTER of ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT Saw the Legislative Decree March 31, 1998, n. 123 laying down rules for the rationalization of public support to enterprises; Considered that art. 2, paragraph 2, of the said Decree. # 123/1998 provides that the Minister of industry, Commerce and crafts by Decree in conformity with the provisions of the European Union indicate and update the rate to be used for updating and revaluation; Having regard to the communication from the European Commission 2008/C 14/0 (Official Gazette # C14 of January 19, 2008) on the revision of the method for setting the reference and discount rates, which were also replaced the previous communications regarding the method for setting the reference and discount rates; Given that the new method provides that the reference rate and the discounting is determined by adding the base rate set by the European Commission 100 basis points; Given that the European Commission makes public the above base rate on the internet at: http://ec.europa.eu/competition/state_aid/legislation/reference_rates. html; Considered that the abovementioned Commission communication 2008/C 14/0 expect the update rate is carried out on an annual basis and that, in order to take account of significant and sudden variations, an update is done each time the average rate, calculated in the three previous months, deviates more than 15% from the rate valid at that time; Given that the above base rate has been updated by the European Commission, with effect from 1 January 2015, in amount equal to 0.34%;
Decrees: Art. 1 1. With effect from 1 January 2015, the rate to be used for updating and revaluation for the grant and payment of benefits for enterprises is equal to 1.34%.
