The DIRECTOR GENERAL for the promotion of quality food products and horse racing Saw the Legislative Decree March 30, 2001, # 165, laying down general rules on the sort of labour employed in public administration, and in particular art. 16. d); Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 21, 2012 quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs, and in particular art. 58 repealing Regulation (EC) No 510/2006; Visto l'art. 16, paragraph 1 of the Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 which stipulates that the names entered in the register under art. 7, paragraph 6 of Regulation (EC) no 510/2006 are automatically entered in the register provided for in art. 11 of the aforementioned Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012; Having regard to Council regulations (EC) which were recorded the D.O.P. and extra virgin olive oils and I.G.P. Italians; Considering that the Virgin olive oils and Virgin olive oils in order to claim the D.O.P., I.G.P. or registered name, must possess the physical and chemical properties established for each denomination, in its production rules approved by competent organs; Since these chemical and physical characteristics of Virgin olive oils and Virgin olive oils with designation of origin must be ensured by approved laboratories; Seen the Decree September 8, 2010, published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale-serie generale-# 221 of September 21, 2010 with which the chemic lab sector special agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples, located in Naples, Corso Meridionale # 58, it was renewed the authorization to issue certificates of analysis in the olive sector; Having regard to the application of further renewal of the authorization made by the lab above dated December 9, 2014; Given that the above mentioned laboratory has complied with the requirements set out in point c) of the aforementioned circular and in particular has been shown to have gotten on July 23, 2014 accreditation in respect of tests indicated in the annex to this Decree and its quality system, in compliance with the requirements of the standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025, by an organisation according to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17011 and accredited in the EA-European Cooperation for Accreditation; Whereas by Decree December 22, 2009 ACCREDIA-Italian Body for accreditation and was designated as the only Italian Agency to carry out activities for accreditation and market surveillance; Considered existing conditions and requirements concerning the further renewal of the authorisation in question;
Decrees: Art. 1 the laboratory Chemistry Laboratory sector special agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples, located in Naples, Corso Meridionale # 58, is authorized to issue certificates of analysis in the olive sector in respect of evidence listed in the annex to this Decree.
