THE RECTOR Given the Statute of the University 'of Cagliari, approved by Royal Decree of 20 April 1939, n. 1098, and subsequent amendments and additions; Given the single text of the laws on higher education, approved by Royal Decree 31 August 1933, n. 1592; In view of the Royal Decree-Law of 20 June 1935, n. 1071, converted into Law 2 January 1936, n. 73; In view of the Royal Decree of 30 September 1938 n. 1652, as amended; Having regard to Law 11 April 1953, n. 312; The Order of the President of the Republic July 11, 1980, n. 382; The Order of the President of the Republic May 20, 1989 and XXIX table annexed to it; Having regard to Articles 6 and 16 of the Law of 9 May 1989, no. 168; The proposals for amending the statutes formulated by the authorities' academic of this University 'relating to the reorganization of the degree courses of the Faculty' of Engineering and the establishment of courses in electronic engineering degree; Noting that the degree course in electrical engineering and 'foreseen in the four-year development plan for 1986-90; Recognized the special needs' to approve proposed changes in the three-year derogation from the period mentioned in the last paragraph of art. 17 of the Consolidated 31 August 1933, n. 1592; Having heard the opinion of the university council at its meeting on 10 April 1990; Decrees: The Statute of the University 'of Cagliari, approved and amended by the decrees mentioned in the introduction, and' further amended as follows: Sole Article The items included Nos. 77 (ex 81) to 89 (ex 93) shall be deleted and replaced as follows: Title X FACULTY 'Engineering TAB. XXIX The access to degree courses of the faculty 'and' regulated by law. Art. 77. - The Faculty 'Engineering gives: 1) a degree in engineering to the environment and the territory; 2) a degree in chemical engineering; 3) a degree in civil engineering; 4) the degree in electrical engineering; 5) the degree in electronic engineering; 6) the degree in mechanical engineering. Address: Industrial automation and robotics; biomedical; construction; energy; materials; production; land vehicles. At the completion of the studies it is achieved the title of "Doctor of Engineering" with the specification of the following degree. Address optionally followed is mentioned on the degree certificate. Art. 78. - Each of the five-year course can 'be divided into two teaching periods (semesters) with a duration of at least thirteen weeks of actual activity'. At the end of each semester and before the start of the first half of next academic year, and 'planned an examination session lasting at least four weeks. Each year of the program involves a total of at least six hundred hours of activity 'educational and training, theory, theory and practice, including the activities' integrative teaching (tutorials, workshops, seminars, specialized courses, demonstrations, activities' tours, technical visits, tests partial training, correction and discussion of projects and processed, etc.).
