BAB I
THE POSITION, THE PRINCIPAL TASK, AND FUNCTION
Section 1
.,, (1) The next Nuclear Power Supervising Board in the Decree of the President is called BAPETEN, is the Non-Department Government Institution that is under and responsible directly to the President.
(2) BAPETEN is led by a Chief.
Section 2
BAPETEN has the task of assisting the President in organizing oversight of the utilization of nuclear power in Indonesia in accordance with applicable legislation.
Section 3
In performing the duties as referred to in Article 2, BAPETEN organizes a function:
., a., a. the formulation of national wisdom in the field of supervision of nuclear power utilization;
., b. The drafting of plans and national programs in the field of supervision of nuclear power utilization;
., c. the coaching and drafting of regulations as well as the implementation of nuclear safety studies, radiation safety, and the safeguarding of nuclear materials;
., d. the implementation of permits and inspections on the construction and operation of nuclear reactors, nuclear installations, nuclear materials facilities, and radiation sources as well as the development of nuclear preparedness;
., e. the implementation of cooperation in the areas of supervision of nuclear power utilization with government agencies or other organisations both within and outside of the Indonesian territory;
f. the implementation of the surveillance and control of nuclear materials;
., g. exercise of safety and counseling to efforts that concern the safety and health of workers, members of society and protection against the environment of life;
., h. execution of human resources coaching in the BAPETEN environment i.implementation of administrative coaching, control, and supervision in the BAPETEN environment;
J. the execution of another task given by the President.

ORGANIZATION
The First Part
Organizational Structure
Section 4
The BAPETEN Organization framework consists of:
a. BAPETEN head;
B. Deputy Nuclear Safety Assessment;
C. Deputy Perizinan and Inspection.

.,, (1) BAPETEN chief is below and is directly responsible to the President.
.,, (2) BAPETEN chief tasked with leading BAPETEN in accordance with established tasks and fostering and supervising of the BAPETEN apparatus for the more useful and successful use.
.,, (3) If BAPETEN Head is impeded, then BAPETEN Chief may appoint one of the Deputy to represent BAPETEN Chief.
The Third Part
The Deputy Nuclear Safety Assessment
Section 6
The Deputy Nuclear Safety Assessment is the acting element of the task and function of BAPETEN which is below and is directly responsible to the Chief of BAPETEN.
Section 7
Deputy Nuclear Safety Review has a duty to assist Chief BAPETEN in implementing nuclear safety regulations, nuclear reactor safety studies, radiation safety studies and nuclear materials, and regulatory enforcement. nuclear safety.
Section 8
In carrying out the duties as referred to in Article 7, the Deputy Nuclear Safety Review is organizing a function:
a. the formulation of wisdom in the field of supervision of nuclear power utilization;
., b. The drafting of plans and national programs in the field of supervision of nuclear power utilization;
., c. the coaching and drafting of regulations in the field of nuclear power as well as its affirmation;
., d. The coaching and assessment of nuclear safety, radiation safety and the security of nuclear materials;
e. implementation of guidance and regulatory counseling in the field of nuclear power;
f. another task given by the Chief.
The Fourth Part
Deputy Perizinan and Inspection
Section 9
The Deputy Perizinan and Inspection are the executor elements of the duties and functions of BAPETEN which are below and are directly responsible to the BAPETEN Chief.
Section 10
Deputy Perizinan and Inspection have the duty to assist Chief BAPETEN in carrying out coaching and hosting and inspection of the construction and operation of nuclear installations, radiation source facilities and nuclear materials, as well as Nuclear preparedness.
Section 11
In carrying out the duties as referred to in Article 10, Deputy Licensing and Inspection organizes function:
., a., a. coaching, hosting, and evaluation of the licensing of the construction and operation of radiation source facilities and nuclear materials;
., b. coaching, hosting, and evaluation of development licensing and operation of nuclear installations;
., c. coaching and hosting the construction inspection and operation of nuclear installations and radiation source facilities as well as the development of nuclear preparedness;
D. another task given by the Chief.
BAB III
WORK LAYOUT
Section 12
.,, (1) All elements in the BAPETEN environment in performing their duties are required to apply the principle of integration koodination, and synchronize both in the BAPETEN environment alone or in relation to other installations for the unity of motion according to Duty and function.
., (2) Any warranty of a unit of the organization is required to supervise its respective subordinates and if any perversion is required to take the necessary steps in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws.

APPOINTMENT AND DISMISSAL
Section 13
(1) BAPETEN chief is the office of the eselon He.
(2) The deputy is the element eselon Ib.
Section 14
(1) BAPETEN chief is appointed and dismissed by the President.
(2) Deputies were appointed and dismissed by the President at the suggestion of BAPETEN Chief.
BAB V
THE FINANCING
Section 15
Any financing required for the execution of the duties and functions of BAPETEN is charged on the State Revenue and Shopping Budget.
BAB VI
THE EXPERT COMMISSION
Section 16
.,, (1) BAPETEN chief may form the EXPERT COMMISSION, which is next called COMMISSION, as a communications forum consisting of experts of various fields of science and expertise.
.,, (2) COMMISSION has a duty of providing consideration and advice to BAPETEN in the field of implementation of the utilization of nuclear power utilization.
.,, (3) Further provisions regarding the organization ' s arrangement and the COMMISSION worksets as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) are aur by BAPETEN Chief.
BAB VII
RADIATION HAZARD ALLOWANCE
Section 17
Civil servants who work in full in the BAPETEN environment which because of their duties should face radiation hazards, can be given radiation hazard benefits.
Section 18
.,, (1) The improvement of the radiation hazard as referred to in Article 17, is given on the basis of the level of risk of the radiation hazard received by the Civil Servants Concerned in the exercise of its duties.
.,, (2) The radiation hazard allowance of radiation, the layout, the designation and the calculation of the risk level of radiation hazard are set by the Presidential Decree.
BAB VIII
OTHER LAIN-CONDITIONS
Section 19
With this Presidential Decree on all the equipment and equipment used by the next National Atomic Energy Agency (BATAN), for the task of implementation of surveillance in the field of atomic power is control to BAPETEN.
BAB IX
THE TRANSITION PROVISION
