RULES MINISTER FOR WOMEN ' S EMPOWERMENT AND CHILD PROTECTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

FEMALE POLITICAL PARTICIPATION IMPROVEMENT GUIDE
IN THE LEGISLATIVE INSTITUTION

WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD

MINISTER OF FEMALE EMPOWERMENT COUNTRIES AND
PROTECTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Weigh: a.  that in order to improve the quality of democracy oriented towards the welfare of the people, it needs a balance of gender roles in the process of taking political decisions in legislative institutions;
B.   that the number of female representation of a minimum of 30 (thirty) percent in the legislative institution has not been reached;
c. that there are fewer Regional Device Work Units in the Province, District/City that organizes activities to encourage the increasing representation of women in legislative institutions;
D.  that based on the consideration of the letter a, letter b, and the letter c need to specify the Ordinance of the Minister of State for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection on the Guide to the Improvement of Political Participation of Women in the Legislative Instituts;

DECIDED

Set: A REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF WOMEN 'S EMPOWERMENT AND CHILD PROTECTION ON THE GUIDANCE OF INCREASED WOMEN' S POLITICAL PARTICIPATION IN LEGISLATIVE INSTITUTIONS.

Article 1
In Regulation of this Minister referred to:
1. A temporary special action (affirmative action) is a temporary policy devoted to women in an effort to achieve gender justice and gender equality of politics.
2. The subsequent penitentiary organization called ormas is an organization established and established by society voluntarily based on the similarity of aspiration, wills, needs, interests, activities, and the purpose of participating in the Development for the purpose of the State of the Republic of Indonesia which is based on Pancasila.
3. Political participation is the participation of the citizens in political decision making, either directly or indirectly.
4. Article 2

Article 3
The intent of drafting a Female Political Participation Improvement Guide in the Legislative Institution is as a reference to the Government, Provincial Government, District/City Local Government that has the duties and functions related to Women's empowerment and child protection for the program and activities of increased female political participation in legislative institutions achieve established results.

Section 4
The purpose of Women's Political Participation Guide in Legislative Instituts is to assist in the preparation of the program and the increased participation of women in legislative institutions to be more systematic, measurable, and accountable.
