RATIFICATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL TIMBER AGREEMENT, 1994 (INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL TIMBER AGREEMENT, 1994)

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

Weigh: a. that in New York, the United States on April 21, 1994,

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has signed the International Tropical Timber Agreement, 1994 as a result of the International Tropical Timber Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, on January 26, 1994;

b. that in respect of that, and in accordance with the mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Chairman of the People's Representative Council Number 2826 /HK/1960 dated 22 August 1960 on the Creation of agreements with Other States, it is considered necessary to passing the Agreement with the Presidential Decree;

Given: Article 4 of the paragraph (1) and Article 11 of the Basic Law of 1945;

DECIDE: Establishing: DECISION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON ATTESTATION

INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL TIMBER AGREEMENT, 1994 (INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL TIMBER AGREEMENT, 1994).

Article 1

Passes The International Tropical Timber Agreement, 1994 (International Tropical Timber Agreement, 1994), which had been signed by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in New York, United States, on 21 April 1994, as a result of the International Tropical Timber Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, on January 26

1994 whose copy of the original text in English as well as its translation in Indonesian is attached, as an inseparable part of this Presidential Decree.

Article 2

If there is a difference The interpretation between the manuscript translation of the Agreement in Indonesian with a copy of the original text in English as referred to in Article 1, then in effect is a copy of the original text in English.

Article 3 of the Decree of the English. The president is starting to apply at the designated date. In order for everyone to know, order the invitation of the Presidential Decree with its placement in the State Sheet of the Republic of Indonesia.
