CHAPTER I OF POSITION, DUTY, AND FUNCTION

d. the strengthening and facilitating of community and government activities in the area in the field of environmental impact control in accordance with applicable laws;

e. improving institutional capacity, human resources, role as well as all environmental partners in environmental impact control and voluntary enhancing of management tools as well as eco-oriented technology alternatives;

F. prevention and countermeasures of pollution and/or environmental damage as well as the recovery of the quality of the environment;

g. monitoring, vetting, monitoring, and technical evaluation of waste management and Hazardous Materials and Toxic Substances (B3);

h. surveillance, legal enforcement, and settlement of environmental disputes; i. development of information systems and services as well as community relations

in order for implementation of environmental impact control; j. planning, development, and working networking work with

various environmental partners to improve environmental awareness through education and environmental training;

k. Emergency preparedness and emergency response to environmental disaster, environmental impact control means, and human resources in the field of environmental impact control;

l. monitoring, checking, and surveillance in order for environmental impact control.
