DANGEROUS AND ITS CREATION)
WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal has been passed through the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 61 Year 1993;
B. that oversight of the implementation of the prohibition of cross-border transfers of hazardous waste, in particular from developed countries to developing countries needs to be tightened;
c. that Indonesia needs to enhance international cooperation in the field of supervision against the implementation of a ban on the cross-border displacement of hazardous waste;
D. that based on consideration as in letter a, b, and c is deemed necessary to validate the Amendment to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal with the Presidential Ordinance;
Remembering: 1. Section 4 of the paragraph (1) and Article 11 of the Basic Law of the Republic of Indonesia Year of 1945;

DECIDED:
SET: PRESIDENTIAL REGULATION ON THE ENACTMENT OF THE AMENDMENT TO THE BASEL CONVENTION ON THE CONTROL OF TRANSBOUNDARY MOVEMENTS OF HAZARDOUS WASTES AND THEIR DISPOSAL (THE BASEL CONVENTION ON THE SUPERVISION OF CROSS-BOUNDARY DISPLACEMENT OF WASTE) IT ' S DANGEROUS AND THE OPENING.
