PRIMARY BATTERY MANDATORY

MINISTER OF INDUSTRIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

.,, weighed: a. that in order to apply industry product standards to ensure the quality of industrial products, achieve the power to produce and protect consumers against the quality of the product, as well as create a healthy business competition, need to enact National Standards. Indonesia (SNI) Primary Battery is mandatory;

DECIDED:

.,, Setting: REGULATIONS MINISTER OF INDUSTRY ON ENFORCING INDONESIAN NATIONAL STANDARDS (SNI) PRIMARY BATTERY MANDATORY.

Section 1
In Regulation of the Minister this is referred to:
., 1. The next Certificate of Use of the SNI Use Product called SPPT-SNI is a Certificate of Use of SNI Use Products issued to a manufacturer capable of producing goods and services that match the requirements of the SNI.
., 2. The Product Certification Institute that is next called LSPro is an institution that has been accredited by the National Accreditation Committee or appointed by the Regulation of Minister of Industry to conduct the SNI Use Product Certification activities.
., 3. The next National Accreditation Committee is a non-structural agency that is under and responsible directly to the President, who is authorized to accrue the institution/laboratory to conduct certification activities.
., 4. Director General Pembina Industries is the Director General of the Transport and Telematics Tool Industry, Department of Industry.
. .5. The head of the BPPI is the Head of the Industrial Research and Development Agency, the Department of Industry.
., 6. The head of the Provincial Service is the Head of the Provincial Service which carries out the duties of government affairs in the field of industry.
., 7. The head of the Regency/City Service is the Head of the Regency/City Service which carries out the duties of government affairs in the field of industry.

Primary Battery-Part 2: Physical and Electric Specification
SNI 04-2051.2-2004




., (2) The primary battery as referred to in paragraph (1) is a battery consisting of one or more primary cells, which includes a container, terminal and tagging.

Section 3
Industry companies that produce or import the Primary Battery as referred to in Section 2 of the paragraph (1), are mandatory:
., a., a. implement the SNI and have the primary SPPT-SNI of the Primary Battery in accordance with the provisions of the Primary Battery SNI; and
B. Sign the SNI sign at:
., 1. every product and outside of the Primary Battery packaging products and packaging; or
., 2. Special packaging for the Kancing Battery (Chip) with a diameter of up to 10 mm.

Section 4
Each trafficked Primary Battery, which is derived from the output in the country or import is required to meet the provisions of the SNI as referred to in Article 3.

Section 5
.,, (1) The Publishing of the SPPT-SNI of the Primary Battery as referred to in Article 3 of the letter a, executed by LSPro which has been accredited by the KAN or appointed by the Minister of Industry, through:
., a., a. Primary Battery quality fitness testing in accordance with the SNI requirements; and
., b. audit the application of the SNI quality management system 19-9001-2001/ISO 9001:2000 and its revision or other recognized quality management systems.
.,, (2) Testing as referred to in paragraph (1) the letter a may be subcontracted in a tester laboratory that has been accredited or appointed by the Minister of Industry or subcontracted to the tester laboratory outside the country along the have an agreement with mutual recognition or Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) between the country's accreditation body, as well as having bilateral or multilateral agreements in the field of technical regulation between the Government and the Government of the United States. Section 7

.,, (2) The import primary batteries that have had SPPT-SNI must be registered in accordance with the provisions of the laws.

Section 8
.,, (1) the import of non-eligible Primary Batteries as referred to in Section 3 is prohibited from entering into the Indonesian Pabean region and must be reexported or destroyed.
.,, (2) The order of reexport or annihilation as referred to in paragraph (1) is done in accordance with the laws.

Section 9
.,, (1) The Director General of Industry Pembina carries out coaching and oversight of the implementation of mandatory SNI of Primary Batteries in factories executed by the Supervising Board of Standards of Goods and or Services at the Factory (PPSP) At least one (one) times a year.
.,, (2) The implementation of the supervision as referred to in paragraph (1) may coordinate with the Head of the Provincial Service and or the Head of the Regency/City Service.
.,, (3) the BPPI chief carries out coaching on the Institution Assessment Institute in order of mandatory SNI Battery Primary Treatment.

Section 10
The Director General of Industry Pembina sets out the technical instructions of the implementation of this Minister Regulation.

Section 11
The perpetrators of the effort that committed the breach to the provisions in the Ministerial Regulation are subject to sanction in accordance with the provisions of the laws.

Section 12
Companies that have owned the SPPT-SNI Primary Battery are required to use a primary Battery SPPT-SNI based on this Ministerial Regulation.

Section 13
Under the terms of this Minister's Regulation, the Decree of the Minister of Industry Number 256 /M/SK/II/1979 on the Application of the Indonesian Industry Standards and the Use of SII Standard Mark against ten types of Industrial Products, as long as it is related to The SII of the Primary Battery SII is revoked and stated does not apply.

Section 14
The Minister ' s rules are starting to apply 6 (six) months since the date is set.
