BOUNDARY OF RIAU PROVINCE AREA WITH WEST SUMATRA PROVINCE
BY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
THE INTERIOR MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that in order to order the administration of the province of Riau and the Province of West Sumatra, it is necessary to set the boundary of the area definitively between Riau Province with the Province of West Sumatra;
B. that the definition of the boundary of the area between Riau Province and West Sumatra Province as referred to in the letter a has been agreed by the Government of Riau Province and the Government of the Province of West Sumatra and approved by the Regional Border Boundary Team Central level;
c. that under consideration as referred to in the letter a and the letter b, need to establish the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Indonesia on the Regional Boundary of Riau Province with West Sumatra Province;

DECIDED:
Establish: REGULATIONS OF THE INTERIOR MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON THE LIMITS OF THE PROVINCE OF RIAU PROVINCE WITH THE PROVINCE OF WEST SUMATRA.
BAB I
UMUM PROVISIONS
Section 1
In Regulation of this Minister referred to:
One. Riau province is an autonomous region as in the Emergency Law Number 19 of 1957 on the Establishment of the Level of I of West Sumatra, Jambi and Riau.
Two. The province of West Sumatra is an autonomous region as in the Emergency Law Number 19 of 1957 on the Establishment of the States of West Sumatra, Jambi and Riau.
Three. Upper Rokan Hulu is an autonomous region as referred to in Act No. 53 of 1999 on the Establishment of Pelaopposed Regency, Upper Rokan Hulu, Lower Rokan Regency, Siak Regency, Karimun Regency, Natuna Regency, County Kuantan Singingi, and Batam City.
Four. Kuantan Singingi is an autonomous region as referred to in Law No. 53 of 1999 on the Establishment of the Pelaopponent Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency, Lower Rokan Regency, Siak Regency, Karimun Regency, Natuna Regency, Kuantan Singingi County, and Batam City.
Five. Kampar Regency is an autonomous region as it referred to in the Law Number 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region of County In the Environment of Central Sumatra Propinsi Jo. Act No. 53 of 1999 on the Establishment of the Pelaopponent Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency, Lower Rokan Regency, Siak County, Karimun Regency, Natuna Regency, Kuantan Singingi Regency, and Batam City.
Six. Pasaman County is an autonomous region as it referred to in the Law Number 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region of County In the Environment of Central Sumatra Propinsi Jo. Act Number 38 of 2003 on the Establishment of Dharmasraya County, South Solok Regency, and West Pasaman Regency in West Sumatra Province.
Seven. Dharmasraya County is an autonomous region as referred to in Law Number 38 of 2003 on the Establishment of Dharmasraya County, South Solok Regency, and West Pasaman Regency in West Sumatra Province.
Eight. The District of Fifty Cities is an autonomous region as it referred to in the Law Number 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region of the District in the Environment of Central Sumatra Propinsion.
Nine. The district of Sijunjung is an autonomous region as referred to in the Law Number 12 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Regency Autonomous Region in the Environment of Central Sumatra Propinsi of Central Sumatra. Act Number 38 of 2003 on the Establishment of Dharmasraya County, South Solok Regency, and West Pasaman Regency in West Sumatra Province.
Ten. The next major boundary pillar (PBU) is a pillar mounted as a boundary sign between the Province/District/City which is placed on the boundary between the provincial/Kabupaten/City area.
11. The next major border reference pillar (PABU) is a pillar installed as a boundary sign between the Province/District/City laid on the side of the natural or artificial boundary which serves as the boundary line connecteage between the regions Province/Kabupaten/City.

Section 2
Limit area of Riau Province with West Sumatra Province is the regional boundary between:
1.Regency of Upper Rokan with Pasaman County;
2.Regency The Upper Rokan with Fifty Cities District;
3.Regency Kampar with the Regency Fifty Cities;
4.Regency Kuantan Singingi with Fifty Cities County;
5.Regency Kuantan Singingi with Sijunjung Regency; and
6.Regency Kuantan Singingi with Dharmasraya County.
