CIRCULATION OF THE SEED OF HORTICULTURE

WITH THE GRACE OF THE GOD ALMIGHTY THE AGRICULTURAL MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

DRAWS: A. that with the Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 48 /Permentan/SR.120/8/ 2012 has set the Production, Certification and Monitoring of the Horticulture Benih;

b. that to acquire quality seed, production, certification and seed circulation needs to be supervised and to produce quality seed needs core seeds;

c. that for Cultivation Of Foreign Capital will invest in the field of horticulture need a recommendation from the Directorate General of Horticultura;

d. that based on consideration as in the letter a, the letter b, and the letter c need to change the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 48 /Permentan/SR.120/8/ 2012 on Production, Certification and Surveillance of the Horticulture Seed;

DECIDED:

Establish: AGRICULTURE MINISTER REGULATION ON CHANGES TO THE RULES MINISTER AGRICULTURE NUMBER 48 /Permentan/SR.120/8/ 2012 ABOUT THE PRODUCTION, CERTIFICATION AND SUPERVISION OF THE SEEDS OF HORTICULTURE SEEDS.

Article I

1. Some provisions in Agriculture Minister Regulation No. 48 /Permentan/SR.120/8/ 2012 on Production, Certification and Supervision of the Horticulture Seed, (State News of the Republic of Indonesia of 2012 Number 818), were changed as follows: a. The provisions of Article 1 of the number 8 are changed and insert 1 (one) of the figure

between the number 8 and the number 9 to the number 8a so that it reads as follows:

Article 1

In this Regulation is referred to by: 8. The Pentype seed is an early-generation seed produced

of the core seed. 8a. The core seed is the initial seed produced by the bleaching

based on the breeding process. B. The provisions of Article 7 of the paragraph (2) and paragraph (5) are changed so that it reads

as follows: Article 7

(2) The result of a vegetative seed multiplication in a conventional manner as referred to in verse (1) for the plant of a season: a. GO is a product of the Benih class

Pentype (BS) classified as Basic Seed (BD);

b. G1 is a result of the output of GO as referred to in the letter a, classified as a staple seed (BP);

c. G2 is the product of G1 as it is referred to in the letter b, classified as Sebar Seed (BR).

(5) The result of vegetative seed multiplication in a conventional way as referred to verse (1) for the terna plant: a. parent family in BFRI (BFRI) Foundation Block

classified as BD; b. The parent family in the BPRI group is classified as BP; c. plants in BPB are classified as BR.

c. The provisions of Article 12 are amended so that it reads as follows: Article 12

(1) The Seed of a free milling plant or which is complicated by umbi or rimpang can be used as a quality seed by means of a variety purification.

(2) The purification of the variety as referred to in verse (1) to:

a. maintaining the purity of seed varieties according to its class;

b. avoiding the accumulation of seed tular disease; and

c. keeping the availability of quality seed.

(3) Purification of varieties as referred to verse (1) is not enforced for potato commodities.

(4) Purity as referred to the paragraph (1) performed by a seed manufacturer that has not or has had a quality management system certificate whose scope corresponds to the seed and the variety to be purified.

(5) The provisions as referred to in paragraph (4) for manufacturers that do not yet have a quality management system certificate should be implemented with the Instancy that organizes the principal task and the horticultural seed supervision and certification function.

(6) Further provisions on the purification of varieties as referred to in paragraph (1) are assigned by the Director General in the name of the Minister.

d. The provisions of Article 25 are amended so that it reads as follows: Article 25

The seed manufacturer which has obtained the list sign or the mandatory seed production effort is required: a. be responsible for the quality of the horticultural seed that

is produced;

b. document the seed production data; c. report on seed production activities periodically every 3

(three) months to the list signage or permit with a gust to the Instancy that organizes the principal task and the supervising function and seed certification;

d. not to change the location of the seed processing location or the change in the type of plant produced without the consent of the list sign or permission;

e. not to perform list of list tags or permission without the consent of the list sign or permission;

f. Obey the laws in the field of horticulture.

e. The provisions of Article 28 of the paragraph (3) and (4) are amended so that the following reads:

Section 28

(3) The terms of the certification as referred to in paragraph (2) of the letter are not applied to the multiplication of floricltura seeds and fungi as well as the above. Invitro seed multiplier.

(4) To acquire the seed quality of the seed as referred to in paragraph (3) is performed through the assessment of the production process by the Instancy that organizes the principal task and the supervision and certification function of the Client. Seed.

f. The provisions of Section 30 of the paragraph (5) and (6) are deleted so as follows:

Section 30

(3) The government manufacturer or Instancy as referred to in paragraph (2) that meets the requirements of the quality management system, is given a quality system certificate and are entitled to perform seed certification independently.

g. The provisions of Article 66 of the paragraph (2) are amended so that it reads as follows:
