ABOUT
THE CHANGES TO THE 2010 PRESIDENTIAL NUMBER OF PRESIDENT ' S REGULATION ON THE BIOLOGICAL SECURITY COMMISSION OF GENETIC ENGINEERING PRODUCTS
WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that to further streamline the Biological Security Commission of the Genetic Engineering Product, it needs to be made changes to the arrangement and tenure of membership of the Biological Security Commission's membership of the Genetic Engineering Product;
b .that based on consideration as referred to in the letter a, needs to establish the Presidential Regulation on Changes to the Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2010 on the Biological Security Commission of the Product of Genetic Engineering;
Remembering: 1. Article 4 of the paragraph (1) of the Basic Law of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945;
2. Law No. 21 Year 2004 on Concern Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the Convention on Biological Diversity (Cartagena Protocol on the Security of Hayati over the Convention on Biological Diversity (State of the Republic of Indonesia Year) 2004 Number 88, Additional Sheet Of State Republic Of Indonesia No. 4414);
3. Law No. 32 Year 2009 on the Protection and Management Of The Environment (sheet Of State Of The Republic Of Indonesia In 2009 Number 140, Additional Gazette Of The Republic Of Indonesia Number 5059);
4. Government Regulation No. 21 Year 2005 on Biosecurity of Genetic Engineering Products (State Gazette Indonesia Year 2004 Number 44, Additional Gazette Republic of Indonesia Number 4489);
5 .Regulation President Number 39 of 2010 on the Biological Security Commission of the Product of Genetic Engineering;
DECIDED:
Establish: PRESIDENTIAL REGULATION ON THE CHANGES TO THE 2010 PRESIDENTIAL NUMBER OF PRESIDENT REGULATIONS ON THE BIOLOGICAL SECURITY COMMISSION OF GENETICALLY ENGINEERED PRODUCTS.
Section 1
Some provisions in the Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2010 on the Biological Security Commission of Genetic Engineering Products are changed as follows:
1. The provisions of Article 3 are changed so that it reads as follows:
Section 3
KKH PRG consists of 19 (nineteen) people composed of elements of Government, college and society.
2. The provisions of Section 4 are amended so that the following reads as follows:
Section 4
(1) The membership of KKH PRG membership consists of:
a. The Chairman is a member of the group;
B. Vice Chair of the Food Security Field Arrested Member;
C. Co-Chairperson of the Security Feed Security Field Member;
D. Vice Chair of the Environmental Security Field is a Member; and
e. Members.
(2) The Chair is a member as referred to in a paragraph (1) letter a can be held from the Government, college, or community.
(3) Deputy Chairman of the Food Security Field as referred to in paragraph (1) the letter b is served by the Acting High Principal Officer of Madya on non-ministerial government agencies who are organizing government affairs in the field of medicine and food.
(4) The Vice Chair of Security Pakan as referred to in paragraph (1) of the letter c was held by Madya High Chief Executive Officer on the ministry organizing government affairs in the field of agriculture.
(5) Deputy Chairman of the Environmental Security Field as referred to in paragraph (1) the letter d is held by Madya High Chief Executive Officer on the ministry who organizes government affairs in the area of protection and environmental management.
(6) Members as referred to in paragraph (1) the letter e derived from the Government element consists of:
a. the ministry that organizes government affairs in the field of forestry;
B. the ministry that organizes government affairs in the field of marine and fisheries;
c. ministry that organizes government affairs in the field of commerce;
D. the ministry that organizes government affairs in the industrial field;
e. the ministry that organizes government affairs in the health field;
f. the ministry that organizes government affairs in the fields of research and technology;
G. non-ministry government agency that organizes government affairs in the field of development and application of technology; and
h. Non-ministerial government agencies are organizing government affairs in the field of science.
(7) Members as referred to in paragraph (1) of the letter e that are derived from the element of the college number 3 (three) persons.
(8) Members as referred to in verse (1) of the letter e which are derived from a population of 5 (five) persons.
3. The provisions of Article 5 are amended so that it reads as follows:
Section 5
(1) The membership of KKH PRG is appointed and dismissed by the President on the proposal of the minister who organizes government affairs in the area of protection and environmental management.
(2) The tenure of KKH PRG Membership derived from the element of the college or society for 4 (four) years and may be reappointed to 1 (one) the next term of office.
Section II
The rules of the President are in effect on the date of promulgations.
