Back COUNTRY SHEET REPUBLIC of INDONESIA No. 23, 1981 (Additional explanation in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3195) GOVERNMENT REGULATION of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA number 18 in 1981 ABOUT MORTEM MORTEM ANATOMICAL and CLINICAL and TRANSPLANT HUMAN BODY NETWORK TOOL or the PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA, Considering: a. that it is in the health business development to improve health services to the community, the need for the various efforts in order to make the effort well held among other activities, do mortem clinical and anatomical mortem as well as tools and transplants or tissues of the human body that aims for the salvation of mankind as well as improve health and medical science in General;
b. that to carry out the intent of the letter a above, need to be held with the provisions about mortem clinical and anatomical mortem as well as tools and transplants or tissues of the human body with government regulations;

Decide: define: GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS ABOUT MORTEM CLINICAL and ANATOMICAL MORTEM AS WELL AS TOOLS and TRANSPLANTS or TISSUES of the HUMAN BODY.
CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONS article 1 In this Regulation is the: a. mortem clinical examination is conducted by means of surgery against the corpse to find out with certainty a disease or disorder that became the cause of death and to the assessment of the results of health recovery efforts;
b. mortem anatomical examination is conducted by means of surgery against the bodies for educational purposes in the field of medical science;
c. a tool of the human body is a collection of tissues in the body. form by several different types of cells and has the form as well as certain fa'al (function) to the body;
d. Network is a collection of cells that has the form and fa'al (functions) and certain;
e. action is a series of Transplant medicine for removal tools and or body tissue that comes from your own body or bodies of others in order to replace the tools and treatment or body tissues that are not functioning properly;
f. Donor is a person who donates tools and body or network to any other person for the purposes of health;
g. died is the State of a human expert is believed by medical authorities that the function of the brain, breathing, heart rate and or someone has stopped;
h. Expert explained is a doctor or a recognized Bachelor of medicine has gained the expertise of science explained;
i. the pathology and anatomical Museum is the place to store network and the tools of the human body that is healthy and the sick are preserved for the purpose of medical science education;

CHAPTER II MORTEM CLINICAL clinical mortem article 2 should only be done in the following circumstances: a. with the written consent of sufferers and their family or the closest after sufferers died, when the cause of death could not be determined with certainty;
b. Without the consent of the sufferer or his closest, when in duga sufferers suffer from diseases that may harm people or the surrounding community;
c. Without the consent of the sufferer or his nearest, if within 2 x 24 (two kaii twenty-four) hours there is no closest family who died came to the hospital.
Article 3 mortem clinical only done in hospitals that provided data for the purposes of that.

Article 4 treatment of dead bodies before, during, and post mortem is performed according to clinical of each religion and belief in God Almighty, and governed by the Minister of health.

CHAPTER III MORTEM ANATOMICAL article 5 For mortem anatomical needed corpses retrieved from the hospital by observing the terms of the data referred to article 2 letter a and c.

Article 7 mortem anatomical performed by students of the Faculty of medicine and Bachelor of medicine under the direct responsibility and an expert explained.

Article 13 the written consent referred to in article 2 letter a, article 14, and section 15 made on paper part with 2 (two) witnesses.

CHAPTER VIII the ACT PROHIBITED by article 17 Prohibited memperjual traded tools and or body tissue.

Article 18 Prohibited send and receive tools and or body tissue in all forms to and from abroad.

Article 19 the prohibition referred to in article 17 and article 18 shall not apply for the purposes of scientific research and other purposes determined by the Minister of health.

CHAPTER IX of the CRIMINAL PROVISIONS of article 20 (1) violation of the provisions of chapter II, chapter III, chapter V, chapter VI, Chapter VII, and Chapter VIII, threatened with criminal confinement of all time that three (3) months or a fine extended Rp. 7,500 (seven thousand five hundred dollars).
