GOVERNMENT REGULATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
NUMBER 2 YEAR 1983
ABOUT
AGRICULTURAL CENSUS

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Weigh: a.   that for development purposes in the field of agriculture required complete and detailed data through the Census of Agriculture;
B.   that for that purpose in the letter a, it needs to be specified a Government Regulation on the Census of Agriculture;

Remembering: 1.   Article 5 of the paragraph (2) of the Basic Law of 1945;
2. Law Number 6 of the Year 1960 of the Census (State Sheet of 1960 Number 105, Additional Gazette State Number 2044);
3. Law Number 5 Year 1974 on the Subjects Of Government In The Area (State Sheet Of 1974 Number 38, Additional Gazette Number 3037);
4. Government Regulation Number 6 of 1980 on the Organization of the Central Bureau of Statistics (1980 State Gazette Number 11, Additional Gazette State Number 3158);

DECIDED:

Establish: Government regulations on the Agricultural Census.

BAB I
UMUM PROVISIONS

Section 1
In this Government Regulation referred to by:
a.   The Census of Agriculture is the business of collecting, processing, presentation, analysis, and evaluation of data on the number and properties of the agricultural economy/agricultural companies in Indonesia which are held in every 10 years;
B.   The Census officers are those who got the appointment to perform declaition, vetting or supervision and field processing;
C.   Agriculture is agricultural in a broad sense that includes agricultural crops, plantations, fisheries, farms, and forestry.

BAB II
ORGANIZATION

Section 2
(1) The head of the Central Bureau of Statistics is responsible for the technical terms and administration of the implementation of the Agricultural Census.
(2) The Hosting of Agricultural Census in the area is carried out by the Head of Statistics Office in the area, on the instructions and directions of the Central Bureau of Statistics Chief.
(3) The head of the Central Bureau of Statistics may form the Census Advisory Committee with the task of giving consideration or advice on matters relating to the Census of Agriculture.

Section 3
(1) The Governor of the Head of Level I, the Regent of the Head of Regional Level II of the City, the Mayor and the Camat are responsible for coordinating the activities to ensure the implementation of the implementation of the Agricultural Census in its area. Each one

Section 4

BAB III
ORDER THE CONDUCT OF THE AGRICULTURAL CENSUS

Section 5
For the execution of the Agricultural Census will set the work area of the Census Officers, which is part, whole or joint village/kelurahan whose formation is governed by the Central Bureau of Statistics Chief Bureau.

Section 6

Section 7

Section 8

Section 9
(1) The Census Officer before being appointed first is required to follow the practice of the conduct of the Agricultural Census.
(2) The results of the execution of the Census Officers are scrutinated or examined by the Office of the County Statistics Office concerned or the other officers appointed to it.

Section 10
(1) The Census Officer is obliged to perform duties in its area of work during the course of the Agricultural Census with regard to time, grammar, customs, religion, and public order.
(2) The tasks referred to in paragraph (1) of this Section consist of:
a.   Check the building tags and renew the building tags on all types of residential and non-residential buildings;
B.   Building a household or business agency by asking questions listed in the Agricultural Census Isian Isian List;
C.   Other special tasks related to the Census of Agriculture and ordered to him are in writing.

Section 11
Every household and entity that exists in Indonesia as well as performing activities in the agricultural sector is required;
a.   Give permission to the Census Officer to enter the page, the court, farm land or the company that is in the work area of the Census Officer concerned;
B.   Permission to the Census Officer to check or renew the residence number of the residence and not the residence;
C.   It gives a description of him, his household and his activities.

Section 12
The method of discounting matters concerning the household or the body of the members of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia, which is in the jurisdiction of the Ministry and conducting activities in agriculture is set by the Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics together with the Security Defense Department.

BAB IV
THE FINANCING

Section 13
(1) The financing of the Agricultural Census is entirely charged to the budget of the Central Bureau of Statistics.

BAB V
CLOSING PROVISIONS

Section 14
The determination of the timing of the Agricultural Census as well as further implementation guidance is set with the President ' s Instructions.
Section 15
Other things that have not been set up in this Government Regulation are set further by the Central Bureau of Statistics Chief Bureau.

Section 16
This Government Regulation shall come into effect on the date of the promulctest.

AGRICULTURAL CENSUS

I. UMUM

In accordance with the technical development of the Census of Agriculture and the large scope of agriculture, the implementation of the Census of Agriculture in Indonesia is carried out in two stages. In the first stage of the enuoation of the entire household/body of the venture to collect basic data on the agricultural sector.
At the second stage, the number of households in the household were chosen to collect a more complete and detailed description. This second stage is done as soon as the first stage is completed.
In the second phase, for marine fisheries sub-sector, the people's plantations and large plantations will be carried out by their own.
