ABOUT
THE REPRIEVE OF INCOME TAX OVER INTEREST RATES
WHICH THE GOVERNMENT RECEIVES IN THE ORDER OF FOREIGN LOANS
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that in order for the implementation of national development it is still required overseas loans as a complement to the source of the domestic funds;
B. that in order to maintain the efforts to acquire the foreign loans the Government requires for the financing of the various development projects the Government has implemented, both from foreign governments and the official body of the government. international and from private creditors, is seen needing to establish a discretion in the field of taxation of a suspension of tax on interest rates that should be imposed;
Remembering: 1. Section 4 of the paragraph (1) of the Basic Law of 1945;
2. Act No. 7 of 1983 on Income Taxes (State Sheet Of 1983 Number 50, Extra State Sheet Number 3263).
DECIDED:
SET: THE DECISION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON THE SUSPENSION OF INCOME TAX ON INTEREST LOANS RECEIVED BY THE GOVERNMENT IN TERMS OF OVERSEAS LOANS.
Section 1
The implementation of the introduction of income tax on interest loans received by the Government for the purpose of financing the development of both foreign governments and official international bodies in order for aid or official loans and from the United States. Private creditors, suspended until a time determined later by the Government.
Section 2
This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
