Back of the INDONESIAN PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBER 35 in 1984 ABOUT the ORGANIZATION of the SECRETARIAT-GENERAL of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL the PRESIDENT of the Republic of INDONESIA, Considering: a. that with respect to the increasing burden of the task of the Secretariat General of the Council of representatives of the Republic of Indonsia, organization of representatives of the Secretariat-General of the Republic of Indonesia as defined with the decision letter of the Chairman of the Board of representatives Mutual number 22/Pimp/IV/68-69 of the order of organization and Division of the tasks of the work of the Secretariat of the House of representatives section of Brewers is seen no longer appropriate;
b. that therefore deemed necessary to establish a position, basic tasks, functions, organization, and the work of the Secretariat General of the Council of representatives of the Republic of Indonesia in accordance with the development of the State;
Remember: 1.  Article 4 paragraph (1) of the Constitution of 1945;
2. Act No. 16 of 1969 about the arrangement and position of the MPR, DPR and DPRD, as amended by law number 5 in 1975;
Decide: define: the DECISION of the PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA CONCERNING THE ORGANIZATION of the SECRETARIAT-GENERAL of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL chapters I POSITION, BASIC TASKS, and the FUNCTION of article 1 the Secretariat-General of the Republic of Indonesia people's representative Council, the next in this Presidential Decision referred to the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI, is the Apparatus of Government in the form of a Secretarial Agency in carrying out the tasks and functions directly responsible to the Chairman of the House of representatives of the Republic of Indonesia.

Article 2 the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI has the basic tasks in the field of assistance give mem technically and administratively to the DPR-RI in performing tasks and authority as well as organizing the construction of the administrative, organizational, and environmental elements of the entire tatalaksana of the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI.

Article 3 in performing basic tasks as referred to in article 2, the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI hosts functions: a. help organize activities in the field of technical and administrative proceedings of PARLIAMENT-RI;
b. assist the administration organizes the membership of the House of representatives as well as carry out the construction of the Organization and staffing of the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI;
c. organizing public relations activities, keprotokolan and resolution of legal problems;
d. organizing the affairs in the field of financial affairs and implementing the budget;
e. organizing the Affairs of kerumahtanggaan and travel;
f. carry out complex building management and equipment;
g. carry out supervision and coaching intern.
CHAPTER II ORGANIZATIONAL ARRANGEMENT of the first part of article 4 (1) of the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI, led by Secretary General;

(2) in carrying out its duties the General assisted by Sekretarias Deputy Secretary General;
(3) General Secretary membawahkan: a. the Bureau of Proceedings;

b. the Secretarial Bureau of the Chairman;

c. Bureau of the Administration;

d. Legal and public relations Bureau;

e. Financial Bureau;

f. Bureau of Affairs;

g. Maintenance Agency and the equipment of the building;

h. the Bureau Supervision and coaching Intern.
The second part of the SECRETARY GENERAL and DEPUTY SECRETARY GENERAL of article 5 the Secretary General has a duty: a. lead DPR-RI General Secretariat in accordance with the duty and build entire units of the General Secretariat of environment organization in DPR-RI in order for the Sepik and managed to;
b. determine the wisdom of technical implementation activities with the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI;
c. fostering and implementing partnerships with other institutions/agencies outside the DPR-RI.
Article 6 (1) in carrying out its duties the Secretary General assisted by a Deputy Secretary-General responsible directly to the Secretary-General;
(2) if the Secretary-General was unable to, then the Deputy Secretary-General representing the Secretary-General.
The third section of the BUREAU-BUREAU Article 7 1.  The Bureau is implementing items that are under and are accountable to the Secretary-General;
2. Bureaus have the task of implementing some of the basic tasks the Secretary General of the DPR-RI in the field duties, authority, and responsibility of each.
3. The Bureau headed by a Bureau Chief.
CHAPTER III article 8 WORKING the entire LAYOUT of the elements in the environment of the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI in the discharge of his duties, obligated to apply the principle of coordination, integration, and synchronization, both in the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES Secretary-general lingkan-RI alone as well as in the relationships between institutions/agencies, for unity motion appropriate to his duties.

CHAPTER IV ADOPTION and TERMINATION article 9 (1) the Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General are appointed and dismissed by the President over the leadership of the HOUSE of weights per-RI.

CHAPTER VI MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS article 11 At the Secretariat General of the DPR-RI is a Unit of the Ministry of health.

CHAPTER VII PROVISIONS COVER article 12 Details the tasks, functions, organization, and the work unit organizations in REPRESENTATIVES of the General Secretariat of the environment-RI established by the Secretary-General, after first obtaining written consent from the Minister/Secretaries of State and responsible ministers in the areas of increased utilization of State apparatus.

Article 13 with the enactment of presidential decree, then all provisions that contradict her stated does not apply anymore.

Article 14 this presidential decree took effect on the date set.
