ABOUT
RATIFICATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL TIMBER AGREEMENT, 1982
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that in New York, the United States, on June 13, 1984, the Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia had signed the International Tropical Timber Agreement, 1983, as a result of the United Nations Conference on Tropical Timber (Wood) Tropical) made in Geneva, Swis, on November 18, 1983;
B. that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia view the need to pass the Agreement on the letter a above;
c. that in accordance with the Amanat of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Chairman of the People's Representative Council Number 2826 /HK/1960 dated August 22, 1960, the enactment of the Agreement was sufficient with the Presidential Decree;
Remembering: Section 4 of the paragraph (1) and Article 11 of the Basic Law of 1945;
DECIDED:
Establish: DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON THE ENACTMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL TROPICAL TIMBER AGREEMENT, 1982.
Section 1
Authorized The International Tropical Timber Agreement, 1982, which had been signed by the Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in New York, United States, on 13 June 1984, as a result of the United Nations Conference on Tropical Timber (Tropical Timber) created in Geneva, Swis, on November 18, 1983, as attached to this Presidential Decree.
Section 2
This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
