PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. That in an effort to support the implementation of national development in the field of lighting and press, since 1986 the Government has taken steps to help remain widely available to newspapers and magazines as one of the means. information grooves;
B.that with respect to the more steady the life of press publishing in general, it is viewed as necessary to review the grant of ease in the field of Supplemental Tax Imposition in the import and over the submission of paper paper for the issuer of newspapers and magazines, and for the handover of the newspaper and magazine that the Government is having for the duration;

4. Government Ordinance Number 28 Of 1988 On The Introduction Of Value-added Tax On The Submission Of Tax Haves Committed By Large Merchants And The Submission Of Taxable Services Alongside The Services Carried Out (State Sheet Of The Year) 1988 Number 54, Additional State Sheet Number 3385);
DECIDED:
SET: THE DECISION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON THE SUPPLEMENTAL TAX OF DEBT OWED TO THE IMPORT AND SUBMISSION OF PAPER PAPERS FOR THE ISSUER OF NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES, AND FOR THE HANDOVER OF NEWSPAPERS AS WELL AS MAGAZINES.
Section 1
Top-indebted Value Added Tax:
a. Import paper papers for the publishing of newspapers and magazines;
b. Surrender of newsprint for the publishing of newspapers and magazines, as well as for the handover of newspapers and magazines;
borne by the Government.
Section 2
The provisions as referred to in Article 1 are valid for the term of 17 October 1989 until 31 March 1990.
Section 3
With the enactment of this Presidential Decree, then the Presidential Decree No. 42 of 1988 is declared no longer valid.
Section 4
The President's decision to take effect on the date is set, and has receded power from October 17, 1989.
