SAVE IN PRINT AND RECORD WORKS

WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

.,, weighed: a. that the Basic Law of 1945 mandates efforts to lecture the nation ' s lives and advance national culture;
., b. that print and record work is one of the most important cultural outcomes in national development in general, in particular the development of education, the development of science and technology, research and dissemination. information and the preservation of the nation ' s cultural wealth based on Pancasila;
., c. that in order to utilize the nation's cultural outcomes, print and record works need to be set, stored, maintained, and conserved in a particular place as a national collection;
., d. that in respect of the above, it is considered necessary to establish an Act on the Save of the Printed Works and the Works of Ream;

.,, Given: Section 5 of the paragraph (1) and Article 20 paragraph (1) of the Basic Law of 1945;

.,, SET: LEGISLATION ON THE SER-KEEPING OF PRINTED WORKS AND RECORDED WORKS.

BAB I
UMUM PROVISIONS

Section 1
In this Act referred to:
., 1. Printed works are all types of publications of any intellectual and or artistic work printed and duplicable in the form of books, magazines, newspapers, maps, brochures, and the like for the general public;
., 2. Recorded is all kinds of recordings of any intellectual and or artistic work recorded and duplicable in the form of tape, disk, and other forms in accordance with the development of technology that is intended for the general public;
., 3. A publisher is any person, fellowship, legal entity that belongs to the state or private that publishes the print;
., 4. A recording entrepreneur is any person, fellowship, legal entity of both the state and private that produces the record;
. .5. The National Library is a library based in the capital of the country that has the task of organizing, storing, preserving and having all the printed and recorded works produced in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia;
., 6. The Regional Library is a library based in the capital city of the province, which is assigned the task of establishing, preserving, preserving and having all the printed works and recorded works produced in the area.

BAB II
THE SER-SAVE OBLIGATIONS OF PRINT AND RECORD WORKS

Section 2
Each publisher, which is in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, is required to submit two (two) prints from each printed title produced to the National Library, and to the Regional Library in the province's capital city. concerned at least 3 (three) months after it is published.

Section 3
.,, (1) Any recording entrepreneur who is in the country territory of the Republic of Indonesia is obliged to submit a recording of any title of record produced to the National Library, and an to the Regional Library concerned, At least three months after the recording is completed.

Section 4
The obligations of the ser-keeping of print and record works as referred to in Article 2 and Section 3, apply to any citizen of the Republic of Indonesia whose work is published or recorded abroad.

Section 5
The obligations of the ser-keeping of print and recorded works set out in this Act aim to realize a national collection and release it as a result of the nation's culture in order to enlighten the life of the nation.

Section 6
.,, (1) Any person who includes print and or record works regarding Indonesia from abroad over 10 (ten) of the fruit of each title with the intent to be traded, is obliged to submit a single title to the Library Nationwide, no later than one month after being accepted by the concerned.
.,, (2) Any person who includes print and or record works about Indonesia from abroad less than 10 (ten) pieces of each title, but within two (two) years of reentering the same work so that the number exceeds 10. (ten) the fruit, then the provisions of Article 6 of the paragraph (1).
.,, (3) The execution of a record-saving obligation by using raw materials that require special storage, is set further with Government Regulation.

Section 7
Printed works and recorded works submitted and stored in accordance with the provisions in this Act, are not utilized for commercial purposes.

Section 8
.,, (1) Each publisher and recording entrepreneur is obliged to submit a list of title titles or recordings to the National Library and the Regional Library in the province in question once every 6 (six) months.
.,, (2) In terms of the recorded work of recorded stories and documentary handover the list of titles is carried out to the National Library or other bodies set by the Government.
., (3) The obligation of submitting a list of printed works and recorded works as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) applies to any person who incorporates printed works and or record works regarding Indonesia.

Section 9
The provisions of the implementation of the ser-keeping obligations and record works are further set up with Government Regulation.

BAB III
SAVE OF SAVED RESULTS
PRINT AND RECORD WORKS

Section 10
.,, (1) The management of printed works and recorded works submitted for safekeeping under this Act are performed by the National Library and the Regional Library receiving it, or other bodies set by the Government in terms of work Record the story of a story or a documentary.

BAB IV
CRIMINAL PROVISIONS

Section 11

(2) Whoever breaches the provisions as referred to in Article 8, is penalised with a confinement criminal for up to 3 (three) months or penal fines of an altitude of Rp2,500.000.00 (two million five hundred thousand rupiah).

Section 12
The implementation of the criminal provisions as referred to in Article 11, does not negate the obligation to keep the printed works or record works set up in that Act.

BAB V
LAIN PROVISIONS

Section 13
., (1) The provisions of Chapter I up to Chapter III in this Act, apply also to Government bodies that publish and or include printed works and recorded works.
.,, (2) The implementation of the duties of the ser-keeping of printed works and recorded works as referred to in paragraph (1), set further with Government Regulation.

BAB VI
CLOSING PROVISIONS

Section 14
This law goes into effect on the promulgated date.

This legislation includes all the final works in any form made with the intention of being reserved for the general public.

Article 7

Article 12
