TELEVISION RECIPIENT ' S FLIGHT

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Weigh: a. that the Television of the Republic of Indonesia is abbreviated as TVRI, as the mass medium of electronics organized by the Television Foundation of the Republic of Indonesia has a very important function as a means of support for the nation's development;
B. that the hosting of TVRI broadcasts, whether in the fields of education, lighting, culture and entertainment, is a service to the whole layer of society;
c. that in carrying out its function of organizing broadcast operations, TVRI requires very large funding support from the Government and the public;
D. that based on consideration above, it is seen to be necessary to rearrange the provisions of the distribution of the television recipient's plane owner;

Remembering: 1. Article 4 of the paragraph (1) of the Basic Law of 1945;
2. Decision President No. 215 of 1963 on the Establishment of the Television Foundation of the Republic of Indonesia;

DECIDED:

By revoking the Presidential Decree Number 218 of 1963 on the Dues Donation to Help the Payment of the Indonesian Republic Television Foundation as it has been changed several times, the last with Presidential Decree No. 49 1969.

SET: THE DECISION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE TELEVISION RECIPIENT ' S PLANE.

Section 1
1. Television Receiver Aircraft is a tool used by its owner to receive television broadcasts;
2. Owner is the person who has a television receiver broadcast recipient aircraft in all the legal areas of the Republic of Indonesia;
3. Iuran television is a large amount of money determined by the Government that is required to be paid by the owner of the Indonesian television recipient's aircraft;
4. Revenue is the entire acceptance of the Indonesian Republican Television Foundation obtained from the collection of television dues.

Section 2
(1) All television recipient aircraft owners throughout the legal area of the Republic of Indonesia, in charge of conscription of television dues.
(2) The television dues donated on the top of each television recipient plane.
(3) Each owner must register the television recipient ' s plane he owns at the Central Office or Cabang-branch. The Television Foundation of the Republic of Indonesia across Indonesia or elsewhere determined by the Indonesian Republican Television Foundation.
(4) The registration as referred to in paragraph (3) is already to be done as late as 30 (thirty) days after the ownership of the television recipient.
(5) The conscription of conscription is the possession or heir or power of the owner of the television receiver.

Section 3
(1) The order and magnitude of the television dues is set by the Minister of Information after consulting with the Minister of Finance and obtaining the President's approval.
(2) In determining the magnitude of the television interplay is distinguished between the black and colored black receiver aircraft.

Section 4
Iuran television is one of the revenues of the Indonesian Republic Television Foundation which can be used directly to finance the broadcasting operation of the television broadcast.

Section 5
Television broadcasting agencies other than TVRI are not allowed to collect television dues.

Section 6
(1) To conduct the television series, the Television Foundation of the Republic of Indonesia is seeking cooperation with the private sector on the approval of the Minister of Information in order to expand the employment field.
(2) The television collection arrangements as referred to in paragraph (1) are conducted under a cooperation agreement between the Television Foundation of the Republic of Indonesia with the private party on the approval of the Information Minister.

Section 7
Excluded from compulsory television is:
a.  Television receiver aircraft used to host television broadcasts by TVRI as well as private television broadcast host agencies;
B. Television receiver aircraft provided by the Government as a public television;
C. The television recipient ' s plane is statable as a merchandise.

Section 8
Violations of the provisions as set out in this President's Decision, are subject to legal sanction in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws.

Section 9
This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
