ABOUT
RATIFICATION OF INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT ON THE USE OF INMARSAT SHIP EARTH STATION WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL SEA AND PORTS
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that the international INMARSAT maritime satellite communications system needs to be developed so that it can further ensure the safety of the cruise, as well as improve the efficiency of the communication and shipping managemen;
B. that for that purpose, and in accordance with Recommendations Number 3 of the International Conference on the International Maritime Satellite System of 1975 1976, in London, Inggeris, on 16 October 1985, the International Agreement was approved. Agreement on the Use of INMARSAT Ship Earth Stations Within the Territorial Sea and Ports;
c. that with respect to that, and in accordance with the Amanat of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Chairman of the People's Representative Council Gotong Royong No. 2826 /HK/1960 dated August 22, 1960 on the Agreement with the Other State, is seen as necessary to authorize Such Agreement with the Presidential Decree;
Remembering: 1. Article 4 of the paragraph (1) and Article 11 of the Basic Law of 1945;
2. Code Number 3 of 1989 on Teletelecommunications (1989 State Sheet Number 11, Additional State Sheet Number 3391);
3. Presidential Decree No. 14 of 1986 on Unrest Convention on the International Maritime Satellite Organization, INMARSAT (State Sheet of the Year 1986 Number 27);
DECIDED:
SET: THE DECISION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON THE ENACTMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT ON THE USE OF INMARSAT SHIP EARTH STATIONS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL SEA AND PORTS.
Section 1
Passed the International Agreement on the Use of INMARSAT Ship Earth Stations Within the Territorial Sea and Ports, which had been approved on October 16, 1985 in London, Inggeris, whose copy of the original text in English was attached. on the Decision of this President.
Section 2
The President ' s decision comes into effect on the promulgated date.
