THE CHANGES TO THE PRESIDENT 'S DECISION NUMBER 136' S 1999
ABOUT THE POSITION, THE TASK, THE FUNCTION, THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE,
AND THE DEPARTMENT LAYOUT
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weighing: that to further improve the implementation of the Cabinet tasks of the 1999-2004 period in the holding of governance and development, is seen needing to perfect the position, task, function, organizational arrangement, and department work of the department as set out in Presidential Decree No. 136 of 1999;
Remembering: 1. Section 4 of the paragraph (1) and Article 17 of the Basic Law of 1945;
2. Presidential Decree No. 136 of 1999 on Occupation, Duty, Functions, Organization Governance, and Department Work Services;
DECIDED:
SET: THE PRESIDENT 'S DECISION ON THE CHANGES TO THE PRESIDENT' S 1999 PRESIDENTIAL DECISION ON THE POSITION, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, ORGANIZATIONAL ARRANGEMENT, AND DEPARTMENT WORK OF THE DEPARTMENT.
Section 1
Change the provisions of Article 3, Section 4, and Article 5 of the Presidential Decree No. 136 of 1999 on Occupation, Duty, Functions, Organizations, and Department Workworks, as follows:
1. The provisions of Article 3 are changed, so it reads as follows:
" Article 3
The department consists of:
1. The Department of the Interior;
2. Department of Foreign Affairs;
3. Department of Defense;
4. Department of Law and Invundation;
5. Department of Finance;
6. Department of Mines and Energy;
7. Department of Industry and Commerce;
8. Department of Agriculture;
9. Department of Forestry and Plantation;
10. Department of Transportation;
11. Department of Marine Exploration and Fisheries;
12. The Department of Labor;
13. Department of Health;
14. Department of National Education;
15. Religious Department;
16. Department of Settlement and Regional Development. "
2. The provisions of Article 4 paragraph 11 are changed, so it reads as follows:
" Section 4
11. The Department of Maritime Exploration and Fisheries has the task of assisting the President in organizing a common duty of governance and development in the areas of marine exploration and fisheries. "
3. The provisions of Article 5 paragraph 11 are changed, so it reads as follows:
" Section 5
11. Department of Marine Exploration and Fisheries
a. implementation of implementation policies, implementation of technical policies and implementation, the management of the wealth of the country, and the formulation and preparation of common policy in the field of marine exploration and in the field of fisheries under applicable law. Applicable;
B. execution and supervision of marine ecosystem exploration tasks and fisheries to guarantee sustainable utilization and economic development as well as environmental insights;
c. implementation of a portion of the naval, development, atonement, and inclusion of marine marine resource utilization and utilization of marine exploration on a national scale;
D. mentoring, coaching, and perijinan in the field of fisheries;
e. implementation of the development and inclusion of community institutions and the business world in the field of marine exploration and in the field of fisheries;
f. coaching and coordinating the execution of the duties and administration of the department in the sense of planning and assistance of resources, organizing, and interagency relations;
G. research and process development in the execution of tasks as well as standardization;
h. Certain educational and training services;
i. Functional surveillance. "
Section II
This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
