AUTHORIZATION FOR APPROVAL BETWEEN THE INDONESIAN REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT
AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SURINAME REGARDING CULTURAL COOPERATION
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
.,, weighed: a. that in Jakarta, on 15 October 1997 the Government of the Republic of Indonesia had signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Suriname on Cultural Cooperation, as a result of negotiations between Delegation of Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Suriname;
., b. that in respect of that, and in accordance with the Amanat of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Chairman of the People's Representative Council Number 2826 /HK/1960 dated 22 August 1960 on the Creation of agreements with Other States, it is considered necessary to validate the Agreement with the President's Decision;
.,, Given: Section 4 of the paragraph (1) and Article 11 of the Basic Law of 1945;
DECIDED:
.,, SET: THE PRESIDENT ' S DECISION ON THE ENACTMENT OF THE PERSETU-JUAN BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SURINAME ON CULTURAL COOPERATION.
Section 1
Ratify the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Suriname on Cultural Cooperation, which the Government of the Republic of Indonesia signed in Jakarta, on 15 October 1997, as a result of the negotiations. Between the delegates of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Suriname whose copy of the original manuscript is in English and English as attached to this Presidential Decree.
Section 2
This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
