AND PROTOCOL 4 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS OF VEHICLES

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

.,, weighed: a. that in Hanoi, Vietnam, on September 15, 1999 the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has signed the Protocol 3 Types and Quantity of Road Vehicles and Protocol 4 Technical Requirements of Vehicles, as a result of negotiations between Delegation of Government of the Republic of Indonesia and ASEAN member States;
., b. that the Protocol 3 and 4 are the rules of execution of Section 11 and Section 25 of the ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Facilitation of Goods in Transit (ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Granting Of Transit To Transit) which has been signed by the Indonesian Government in Hanoi, Vietnam, on December 16, 1998;
., c. that in connection with it, and in accordance with the Amanat of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Chairman of the People's Representative Council Number 2826 /HK/1960 dated 22 August 1960 on the Creation of agreements with Other States, is seen as necessary to validate the Protocol with the President's Decision;

., 2. The decision of the President No. 169 in 1999 on the Concern of the ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Facilitation of Goods in Transit (ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Granting Of Transit To Transit);

DECIDED:

.,, SET: THE PRESIDENT ' S DECISION ON THE PASSAGE OF PROTOCOL 3 TYPES AND QUANTITY OF ROAD VEHICLES AND PROTOCOL 4 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS OF VEHICLES.

Section 1
Passing Protocol 3 Types and Quantity of Road Vehicles and Protocol 4 Technical Requirements of Vehicles that had been signed by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 15 September 1999, as a result of the negotiations between the two of the two countries in Hanoi, Vietnam. The delegates of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and ASEAN member states whose copies of the original manuscript are in English as attached to this Presidential Decree.

Section 2
This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
