PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

.,, weighed: a. that in order to prevent and eradicate the criminal acts of terrorism, the President of the Republic of Indonesia has established the Regulation of the Government of Law No. 1 of 2002 on the Eradication of the Criminal Code of Terrorism;

., b. that the bombing event that took place in Bali on October 12, 2002 has caused an atmosphere of terror or fear of people widening and resulting in the loss of life and property of another person;

., c. that based on consideration as referred to in letter a and letter b, need to establish the Regulation of the Government of the Act on the Treatment of Government Regulation Law Number 1 of 2002 concerning The Eradication Of Terrorism Crimes, at the Bombs of the Bombs in Bali on October 12, 2002;

., on the Way with the Opening of the Basic Law of 1945, the state of the Republic of Indonesia is a unified state of law and has the duty and responsibility to maintain a safe, peaceful, and prosperous life as well as participate in it. actively nurturing world peace. To achieve these objectives, the Government is obliged to maintain and enforce sovereignty and protect each of its citizens from any threat or destructive action both from within the country and from abroad.

.,, terrorism is a crime against humanity and civilization and is one of the serious threats to the sovereignty of each country, because terrorism is already an international crime that poses a danger to the security, world peace and detrimental to the welfare of the community so that it needs to be done eradicating and continuous so that many people's rights can be protected and held in high regard.

.,, in order to prevent and eradicate the criminal acts of terrorism, the President of the Republic of Indonesia has established the Rule of Government of Law No. 1 of 2002 on the Eradication of Criminal Terrorism.

.,, in connection with the occurrence of terrorism in Bali on October 12, 2002 as well as a very urgent need to address the issue, President of the Republic of Indonesia under Article 22 paragraph (1) of the Basic Law 1945 as amended by the Fourth Change of the Basic Law 1945 need to establish the Regulation of the Government of the Act on the Treatment of Government Regulation Number 1 of the Year 2002 on the Eradication Of Tindak Criminal Terrorism, at the Bombs of Bombs on Bali on 12 October 2002.
