ABOUT THE BATAM ISLAND INDUSTRIAL AREA
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
.,,, Secretary: that to improve the development of the Batam Island Industrial Area more coordinated, it is seen as necessary to change the Presidential Decree No. 41 of 1973 on the Batam Island Industrial Area as it has been some Times modified, lastly with Presidential Decree Number 113 of the Year 2000;
.,, Given: 1. Section 4 of the paragraph (1) of the Basic Law of the Republic of Indonesia of Indonesia Year 1945;
., 2. The Presidential Decree No. 41 of 1973 on the Industrial Area of Batam, as amended, was last with Presidential Decree Number 113 of the Year 2000;
DECIDED:
.,, SET: THE PRESIDENT 'S DECISION ON THE FIFTH CHANGE TO THE PRESIDENT' S 1973 DECISION ON THE INDUSTRIAL AREA OF BATAM ISLAND.
Section 1
President's decision No. 41 of 1973 about the Batam Island Industrial Area which has been several times amended by Presidential Decree:
a. President ' s Decision Number 45 Year 1978;
B. President ' s Decision Number 58 Year 1989;
C. President ' s Decision No. 94 In 1998;
D. Decision President Number 113 of the Year 2000;
changed as follows:
., 1. The provisions of Article 3 of the paragraph (2) are changed and plus 1 (one) verse is paragraph (3), so that the entirety of Article 3 reads as follows:
Section 3
(1) The Batam Island Industrial Area Board of Pembina has the following duties:

., a., a. conducting coaching on the implementation of the development of the development and development of Batam Island development undertaken by Otorita Island Industrial Region Development of Batam;
., b. coordinate the wisdom of the Central Government related to the development of Batam Island;
., c. provides guidance and direction to the Otorita Regional Development of Batam Island regarding the development of Batam Island as an Industrial Area according to the general wisdom of the Central Government in the area of development.
(2) Susunan Board of the Industrial Area of Batam Island consists of:
., 1. Speaker: The Coordinating Minister for the Economics is an economic member;
.,, Vice Chairman I:Minister of Commerce; Detained Chairman of the Daily and member
Deputy Chief II:Minister of Industry; Duplicate member
Deputy Chairman: Minister of the Interior; multiple members
2. Member: a. Finance Minister;
., b. Minister of Public Works;
C. Minister of Transportation;
., d. Minister of State for Research and Technology/Chairman of the Board of Technology and Technology Development (BPPT);
e. Head Of The Coordination Body Of The Capital Planting;
f. Governor of the Riau Butterfly Province.
.,, (3) In carrying out its duties, the Batam Island Industrial Area Board of Pembina may invite other Minister/Head of the Associated Non-Department Government (LPND) agencies.
., 2. The provisions of Article 4 of the paragraph (3) are changed and between verses (3) and verses (4) are added 1 (one) the new paragraph (3a), so that the entirety of Article 4 reads as follows:
Section 4
.,, (1) Otorita Industrial Area Development of Batam Island is responsible for the development, growth of the Batam Island Industrial Area and has the following tasks:

., a., a. developing and controlling the construction of Batam Island as an industrial area;
., b. Planning the needs of the infrastructure and installation of infrastructure installations and other facilities;
.,, c. developing and controlling the shipping-shipping activities (transhipment) on Batam Island;
., d. hold and investigate the business permit application submitted by the employers as well as submit to the respective agencies;
., e. Ensure that the methods of licensing and granting of the necessary services in establishing and running the efforts on Batam Island can go smoothly and orderly, everything to be able to grow the interest of entrepreneurs in their own capital on the island. Batam.
(2) The Arrangement Of Authorita Of The Industrial Area Of Batam Island Industry consists of:

B. Deputy Operations;
C. Deputy Administration and Planning;
D. Deputy Oversight and Control.
.,, (3) In the conduct of his duties, Otorita Industrial Area Development of Batam Island assisted by Team Aconsistency members of officials derived from the elements:
., a., a. The Office of the Minister of Economic Co-ordination;
B. Department of Commerce;
C. Department of Industry;
D. Department of the Interior;
e. Department of Finance;
f. Public Works Department;
G. Department of Transportation;
h. The Capital Planting Coordination Body.
.,, (3a) The membership of the Sistence Team as referred to in verse (3) is further set by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs as Chairman of the Batam Island Industrial Area Board of Pembina.
.,, (4) In developing the growth of Batam Island Industrial Area as well as in the implementation of daily tasks, Otorita Industrial Area Development of Batam Island received and paid attention to the guidance and direction provided by the Regional Pembina Council Batam Island industry.
.,, (5) Otorita Industrial Area Development of Batam Island based and headquartered on Batam Island.

This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
