RATIFICATION INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON MARITIME LIENS
AND MORTGAGES, 1993 (INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON
MARITIME AND MORTGAGE DEBT, 1993)
WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. that in Geneva, Switzerland, on 6 May 1993, the International Convention on Maritime Liens and Mortgages, 1993 (International Convention on Maritime Debt and Mortgage, 1993), as a result of the International Diplomatic Conference which is organized by the United Nations;
B. that in connection with it, it is seen that it is necessary to validate the Convention with the Presidential Regulation;
Remembering: 1. Section 4 of the paragraph (1) and Article 11 of the Basic Law of the Republic of Indonesia Year of 1945;
2. Law No. 24 Year 2000 on International Agreement (State Sheet 2000 Number 185, Additional Gazette State Number 4012);
3. Law No. 10 Year 2004 on the Establishment of the Laws (State Gazette 2004 Number 53, Additional Gazette State Number 4389);
DECIDED:
SET: PRESIDENTIAL REGULATION ON THE PASSAGE OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON MARITIME LIENS AND MORTGAGES, 1993 (INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON MARITIME PIDEBTS AND MORTGAGE, 1993).
Section 1
Ratify International Convention on Maritime Liens and Mortgages, 1993 (International Convention on Maritime Debt and Mortgage, 1993) whose original manuscript is in English and translated into Indonesian as attached and is an inseparable part of this Presidential Regulation.
Section 2
In the event of a distinction between the translation of the Convention in Indonesian with the original English text as referred to in Article 1, then the original text is in English.
Section 3
This President ' s regulation begins to apply at the set date.
