NATIONAL TEAM COUNTERMEASURES MUD FLARES AT SIDOARJO
WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
.,, weighed: a. That in order to countermeasure the mud flares around Sumur Banjar Panji-I Sidoarjo, East Java needs to be carried out of rescue measures around the disaster area guarding the basic infrastructure and settlement of mud-bursts problems. by taking into account the least environmental risks;
., b. that based on considerations as intended in letters a need to be formed by the National Team of Slurred Bursts in Sidoarjo;

.,, SET: THE PRESIDENT ' S DECISION ON THE NATIONAL TEAM OF MUD-BURST COUNTERMEASURES IN SIDOARJO.
FIRST:
Forming a National Team of Mud Bursts in Sidoarjo which is next in the Presidential Decree this is called the National Team.
BOTH:
The National Team membership arrangement is as follows:
a. DirectTeam:
.,, 1) Chairperson/member: the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources;
.,, 2) Members: 1. Public Works Minister;
2. The Minister of Oceans and Fisheries;
3. The Minister of the Country of the Environment;
4. Governor of East Java;
5. Commander Kodam Brawijaya;
6. East Java Regional Police Chief;
B. The Managing Team:

.,, 1) Chairman/double member: Head of the Public Works Department of Public Works Research and Development;
2) Vice Chairman/member:
., 1. Director General of Petroleum and Earth Gas Department of Energy and Mineral Resources;
2. Deputy Head of the Earth Oil and Gas Managing Board;
3) Member: 1. Director General Bina Marga Public Works Department;

., 2. Deputy Minister of State for the Environment of an Environment Management Environment Management Environment;
3. Head of the Marine Research Agency and Fisheries of the Department of Marine and Fisheries;

THIRD:
The National Team has the task of taking integrated operational measures in order to countermeasure the mud flares at Sidoarjo that includes:
a. closing of mud bursts;
B. the handling of the mud overflow;
c. The handling of social problems.
FOURTH:
In performing the tasks referred to in the Third Dictum of the National Team may invite and or request the opinion as well as the technical assistance of the associated agencies and the public.
KELIMA:
With the formation of the National Team with the task as intended on the Third Diktum do not reduce PT's responsibility. Lapindo Brantas to perform countermeasures and recovery of live environmental damage and social problems it causes.
SIXTH:
The costs required for the implementation of the National Team task are charged on the PT budget. Lapindo Brantas.
SEVENTH:
The working days of the National Team are starting to set up this Presidential Decree valid for 6 (six) months and can be extended.
EIGHTH:
This President ' s decision comes into effect at the set date.
