Back of the INDONESIAN PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 14 of 2007 ABOUT the PASSAGE of the ARTICLES of ASSOCIATION and BYLAWS of the INDONESIAN VETERANS LEGION with the GRACE of GOD ALMIGHTY the PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA,.,, Considering: a. that the Congress of the Republic of Indonesia veterans Legion IX was held on March 25, 2007 and ended on March 28, 2007 has produced a decree number KEP-29/KONG/2007 about the Statutes and bylaws Legion Veteran Republic of Indonesia;
.,, b. that based on Act No. 7 in 1967 about the Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia, the passage of the articles of Association and bylaws Legion Veteran Republic of Indonesia proposed by Congress and enacted by Presidential Decree;
.,, c. that based on considerations as referred to in letters a and b, need to establish the presidential decree about the passage of the articles of Association and bylaws of the Republic of Indonesia Veteran Legion;
.,, Considering: 1. Article 4 paragraph (1) Uundang the Constitution of 1945;

DECIDED:.,, define: PRESIDENTIAL DECREE ABOUT the PASSAGE of the ARTICLES of ASSOCIATION and BYLAWS of the INDONESIAN VETERANS LEGION.
Article 1 affirms the Statutes and bylaws Legion Veteran Republic of Indonesia Veteran Legion IX Congress of the results of the Republic of Indonesia which was held on March 25, 2007 and ended on March 28, 2007 in Jakarta, as attached in this presidential decree.

Article 2 With the enactment of presidential decree, Presidential Decree Number 69 in 2002 about the passage of the articles of Association and bylaws of the Republic of Indonesia veterans Legion, was not applicable.

Article 3 this presidential decree took effect on the date set.

SUSILO BAMBANG YUDHOYONO ANNEX I DECISION of the PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA number: 14 2007 date: 19 June 2007, the ARTICLES of the INDONESIAN VETERANS LEGION PREAMBLE "by the GRACE of GOD ALMIGHTY" that the Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia is the society that fought and defended the independence of the nation and the soulless Pancasila as well as meritorious maintaining and enforcing the unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which was proclaimed on August 17, 1945 well, those who join in unity of armed official or kelaskaran, which was recognized by the Government.

That the struggle should continue to fill its independence by implementing national development in order to realize a just and prosperous society based on Pancasila as well as warding off all understand or teachings contrary to the Pancasila.

That national development as the means to realize the national goal as set forth in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution should be implemented jointly between the Government and the entire people, especially Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia, with foster unity and national unity.

That Veteran Republic of Indonesia with the spirit of devotion based Panca Marga will be able to carry out its role as the heir of kejuangan 1945 values, love of the fatherland, a conscious state and realize the country's defense as the implementing national development, as well as a national reserve in the framework of the system of Defense and security of the country which are populist and kesemestaan.

That the blessings of God Almighty and driven by a sense of responsibility in the filling of independence, then the Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia with full assurance berikrar to continue the struggle of nation and State.

May God Almighty always leads the Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in implementing the articles of the Republic of Indonesia veterans legion composed as follows: chapter I name, POSITION, time, ESTABLISHMENT and SOVEREIGNTY article 1 the name and position of the Organization was named "the INDONESIAN VETERANS LEGION" (LVRI) and based in the capital of Republic Indonesia.

Article 2 and the creation of Time.,, (1) legions of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia was founded and formed by the National Congress freedom fighters throughout Indonesia which was held on December 22, 1956 until January 2, 1957 in Jakarta, for an unspecified period of time.

Article 7 of the Republic of Indonesia Veteran legions of Nature is the only viable organization container and means of struggle for all the Veteran RI, which was formed based on the equations of wills, areas of activity, profession, and its function is to participate in Inheritance: a. fighting 1945 values.

.,, (2) Legion Veteran Republic of Indonesia no organic ties with the Organization of social and political power as well as viable organizations is not seazas outside the family Veteran RI, without reducing the sense of the importance of fostering unity and national unity.
Article 9 Duties of principal Duty Veteran Legions of the Republic of Indonesia are:.,, a. Live, practice and securing of Pancasila with the purpose to maintain the sustainability and pewarisannya to the younger generation as a successor to the ideals of the Republican unitary State Indonesia b. ward off all understand/teaching which contradicts Pancasila.
.,, c. in pursuit of the implementation of the laws and regulations governing the construction and supervision against Veteran Republic of Indonesia's mass in order to participate socially as well as cooperation with the Government.
.,, d. provides guidance and protection against legions of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in all fields.
.,, e. Include members and their families in accordance with their abilities and talents in the development activities of the cooperative, as well as private businesses or other businesses that are not contrary to legislation in force.
., f., rehabilitate and enhance the capabilities of the disabled Veteran employment of the Republic of Indonesia to get or create such conditions obtained by their non disabled.
.,, g. Dress it education and training for members and their families in order to increase the ability of human resources as well as the cultivation of the personality and awareness State and defense of the country. h. enhance prosperity for members and their families.

CHAPTER IV membership, obligations, and RIGHTS of MEMBERS article 10 the membership of Each Veteran Republic of Indonesia shall be entitled and obliged to be a member of the Legion of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia which is the only mass organization of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia.

Article 11 obligation of a member any member of a legion of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia shall be obliged to: a. loyal to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.

.,, d. Obey the Statutes/Bylaws and all conditions as well as the decision of the Republic of Indonesia Veteran Legions. e. Actively carry out the work programme of the Republic of Indonesia Veteran Legions.

f. Attended organizational meetings g. pay cash base and organizational dues.

Article 12 a member any member of a legion of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia has the right to: a. Ask the correction or suggestion through the levels of the organization.

b. the awarded organization in accordance with the devotion and merit.

Article 14 Advisory Council organization.,, (1) at the level of National/Regional/Branch formed the group the Organization hereinafter referred to as the elders Advisory Council Veteran Legions of the Republic of Indonesia, by the Congress/Congress/branch Area.

Article 25 the duties and responsibilities of the Child organisation.,, (1) the Board of the child of the Republic of Indonesia veterans Legion Organization level of the Center is in charge of implementing the work programmes and the decisions of the Deliberation of the child organisation as well as technically responsible to the Deliberations of the Organization and is the son of organisatoris to the Central Board of the Republic of Indonesia Veteran Legions.
.,, (2) Leadership Council children's Organizations of the Republic of Indonesia Veteran legions of regional levels is in charge of implementing the work programmes and the decisions of the Deliberation of the child organisation as well as technically responsible to the Deliberations of the Organization and Child organisatoris Child Center Leadership Council to the organization concerned.
.,, (3) Children Leadership Council Organization of the Republic of Indonesia veterans Legion Branch level is in charge of implementing the work programmes and the decisions of the Deliberation of the child organisation as well as technically responsible to the Deliberations of the Organization and in children's organisatoris children's Area Leadership Council to the organization concerned.
