FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO POLITICAL PARTIES AND LOCAL POLITICAL PARTIES
UMUM
The establishment of a political party is part of the from the effort to realize sovereignty
the people. According to the 1945 Constitution, sovereignty is in the hands of the people and exercised according to
The Basic Law. Therefore, the government is obligated to foster and
help the existence of a political party as a means of channting the aspirations of the people through
a wide range of political institutions. In addition to political parties, the Government can
increase the political awareness and political education of the people.
That to implement the provisions of Article 84 Act No. 11 of the Year
2006 on the Government of Aceh, Article 17 paragraph (4) of the Law No. 31 of the year
2002 of the Political Party, and the provisions of Government Regulation No. 29 of 2005
on Financial Assistance To Political Parties, then it is considered necessary to set
further provisions on financial assistance to political parties and political parties
local. Arrangements in the form of qanun are important to ensure Government's concern
