THE POSITION, DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF DEFENSE

Article 1

(1) The Vice Minister is under and responsible to the Secretary of Defense;

(2) The Vice Minister is a career official and is not a member of the cabinet; and

(3) Officials A career as referred to in verse (2) is a civil servant who has occupied the structural office of eselon I. A and is given the highest rank as a civil servant.

Article 2

The Deputy Minister of Defense has a duty to assist the Minister. Defense in command of the Defense Ministry ' s execution.

Article 3

In carrying out the duties as referred to in Article 2, the Deputy Defense Minister organizes functions:

a. represents the Secretary of Defense if the Secretary of Defense is impeded;

b. coordination, integration and synchronization of the Defence functions;

c. coordination with the Ministers and the Leadership of other Non-Ministry Instituations;

d. implementation of the Ministry of Defence administration functions; and

e. the execution of another task given by the Minister of Defense.

Article 4

This Regulation is beginning to apply at a set date.
